Noor & His Implication on Pro Play
With the addition of Noor for next season, how much of a perma-ban do you see this being for teams? For a team like Shopify, a lot of their attacks rely on Canadian entering as a Montagne or a Blitz to gain information, which Noor completely counters. Any team that utilizes shield play will either have to waste a ban to get him off the board, or risk their shields becoming extremely vulnerable. I think this operator has the chance to completely change how teams attack. Another player that has been using a lot of shields is Anitun, and even though CAG found some success at EWC they might have to change some more to properly adapt to the inclusion of Noor. How do you guys this Noor will impact pro league next stage?

For Fun appear to have made an early decision to step away from Sylo for the remainder of the 2026 season.
For anyone that just finished watching Element 2026, THE CRUCIBLE has just returned to NA T2 to likely host the most exciting T2 tournament we have seen in a while with some T1 teams participating.
For anyone unfamiliar, THE CRUCIBLE was a T2/T3 tournament last hosted early 2025, which was won by M80X with Stompn as his first official "T3 tournament" alongside Aidentax, VicBands, Franklin, and Ryce.
They have now returned and so far invited teams include:
-ForFun Esports
-Five Fears
-Blackjack
-Packrunners
+ 2 more T1/T2 teams (they are waiting for the reveal of two north american league rosters before confirming the full lineup (likely outlast is one of them))
Additionally, 6 teams will qualify through open qualifiers to compete in this tournament. The reason this is a big deal is that we rarely get to see T1 and T2 teams compete against each other like this (the last tournament like this I can think of was Wildcard Restart), and it really helped shine some light on the T2 players, and showcase just how good they can be. Not to mention, we will get to see Mingo on controller compete against tier 1 pros in a competitive environment.
This tournament will likely be an insanely fun watch. I'll try and do recaps in here if possible too!
[EU T2] Dyavoli have been disqualified from all EML Challenger Circuit Tournaments after a successful investigation into players Reap and Shallmar.
Found via Jeggz Tweet
Text:
Good afternoon,
As some of you may have seen, Team Dyavoli has been disqualified from all EML Challenger Circuit tournaments (see the announcement below). As a result, all of their matches will be recorded as forfeits.
We also apologize for the late change, but the League Stage will now proceed with 5 teams instead of 6.
Thank you for your understanding.
"Team Dyavoli has been disqualified from all EML Challenger Circuit Tournaments and all circuit points revoked as a result of a successful investigation into 2 of their players.
REAP and Shallmar have both received 2 year competitive bans which prohibits them from taking part in any official Ubisoft Tournament and BLAST related Tournaments such as Challenger Series and SI LCQ's.

Blackjack 8-6 Biblioteca
Mingo may be the best rated player in T2 but this team needs to work on their mentals. They TANKED this game mental wise, begging to yell at each other, alongside Mingo getting "bored" and just running in and dying. Nonetheless, their fragging power still allows them to take the win today. A valiant effort by Biblioteca coming back from the deficit, but unfortunately its not enough to take down blackjack.
Stats:
-
Blue Dream 7-3 Karn & Co
Blue Dream seem to just be running this group. Being the only team to have beaten Blackjack in this group, they just appear dominant in all aspects. Having formed just before the second element qualifier this team is very impressive. Fortunately for Karn & Co, they had already made playoffs, and this match didn't carry too much importance other than seeding.
Stats:

Packrunners 7-4 Kodex Esports

Stats:
-
Darkzero Academy 8-7 No Pressure
Very exciting game! Both teams played great with Grae and Xelo on no pressure going huge. However, an Ace from Iconic mid game, and a big 3k from Kiru on the final round help DZ Acad secure some much needed points to continue their element 2026 run.
Stats:
-
Team Sesh 7-2 Triple T Esports
In what I expected to be one of the better matches of the day, Team Sesh absolutely stomped this game. Kixa was hitting insane shots, and on the attacks it felt like Triple T Esports had no idea how to respond. Team Sesh walk away with a comfortable with, whilst Triple T have to fix their trend of struggling on attacks if they want to win this element.
Stats:
-
Arial Arise 7-4 Akron
Arial Arise seemingly begin to recover from their struggles in previous matches, as Akron continue theirs. BjL has a huge game to help push Arial Arise to the win. Still, some of their attacks looked slightly off as they nearly went to overtime, managing to claw back a man disadvantage in the final round. Akron are again left at the drawing board to figure out how to improve in time to make playoffs.

-
BlackJack 7-5 TWC Extra
TWC Extra might be the slowest attacking team ever. Blackjack despite having some of the worst defense setups ever still managed to pull off a win! The team is improving, but setups still need to be worked on, as they often have barely any rotates present and seem to rely off only gunfights to win games. There is definite potential with these guys though.
Stats:

Blue Dream 7-3 Biblioteca

Arial Arise finally get their first points in element, and show some signs of life! This roster has potential to be good but have yet to fully prove themselves. Kodex played very well despite the loss, and unfortunately are not in a great spot considering there are only three playdays left. Packrunners are either cheating or they are the future cause goddamn they embarrassed DZ Academy. So many hero plays to win matches with players just getting crazy clips. Even with Iconic putting up a good performance it doesn't seem to be enough. DZ seem like they should have prepped more if they want a top slot in their group going into playoffs.

Blue Dream 7-3 Virginia Tech
Despite forming right before the 2nd qualifier, Blue Dream demonstrate that they will be a force to be reckoned with this element. Despite having a rough kickoff and being dropped by C9, Focal dropped a 20 bomb and showed just how good he can be. As well, this was Ricci's first ever official T2 match. Virginia Tech did have to play with two subs, but still it seems as if they have a fair bit of work to do if they want to compete to win this element.

Fisher College 7-3 Karn & Co
A closer game than what the scoreline suggests. It feels like Fisher have just improved since CL and are continuing to showcase their talent within the team. Even though they lost, Karn and Co look better than they have in previous tournaments, and could very much make a bounce back if they fix some of their problems.

Blackjack 7-3 Hakikimori
Blackjack's growth has surprised me so much. I watched them in open quals and at first they reminded me of yurrr, always yelling at each other and giving up after every round lost. This game they played composed and actually showcased so much teamwork. Franklin is doing an amazing job leading these guys and helping give this team organization. They even managed to pull 6 round wins in a row to win the game after being down 1-3. Skys' return unfortunately was overshadowed by Blackjack's performance, especially Mingo showing that the gap between controller and MNK isn't as drastic as people make it out to be. Also props to Yleqi for playing very well despite the struggles his team faced.

TWC-XTRA 7-5 Biblioteca
After qualifying with Biblioteca, Reverse stepped away for the opportunity at TWC XTRA which has appeared to have paid off. Wifi and Hat stepped up to Biblioteca, but were unable to help the team get the win today.Biblioteca look alright but still have some work to do, whilst TWC XTRA look like they could have a chance at being one of the strongest members of the group.

Cloud 9 (a team who has earned around 14 million dollars within esports) is looking for an nonsalaried analyst! (do not blame the r6 players/staff)
It's sad that an organization of this size is paying to little that their analysts are only relying on prize money for any source of income. I understand C9 has been on the downturn but as a partner org this is just sad behavior. I feel bad for the players and staff, cause why would you even bother trying when your organization cares so little that they won't even provide you enough pay to give your analyst a salary. We should reserve partner positions for orgs that are willing to support their players heavily and want to build successful rosters, not orgs looking for a skin check.
This should be a position that is funded by the org, and it's sad that they care so little that the r6 division are being forced to search for unpaid analysts.
