What questions do you have for science communicators?

Hi everyone! I am a science journalist based in Corvallis. Some other science/environmental writers and I will be hosting a panel on the evening of September 19. You can come ask us questions about our work. Like, how does science news happen? How do we decide what research to highlight? And how do we know what information to trust?

Corvallis Local News Update

For those of you who haven't seen this yet: I am a freelance journalist who usually writes about science and the environment for national publications. I am interested in learning more about the local news scene and whether it can better serve the community.

To do this, I am surveying locals about their local news habits, what issues they care about, and how they like to recieve their news.

Thank you to everyone who has answered the survey so far. I met some of you at the farmers market this Saturday, where I was manning a booth to talk about my project.

I plan to share the survey results with participants via email.

Based on your feedback, I have updated the survey and (hopefully) fixed the issues with accessing the link. Please let me know if this is not the case!
