Hey - so I have been honing in on my personal style, having written songs for over 25 years now. I started writing and recording myself at age 15. My teachers showed the class my songs and I performed at school talent shows and all that. Mostly coffee house acoustic style.

Then I got into house music and that scene.

Fast forward to today - I’m 40 and finally feel like I’ve found an interesting voice - using my experience and writing girlie and edgy lyrics, that need a home over dance/ukg productions.

But how do I pair up with a producer?

What’s a foolproof way to ensure they’re going to be at the level that I think my words deserve? I’m not so competent with gear/studio equipment so what should I be lookin for - and where? I hate how crowded the internet can be and how risky it is to work with just anybody who claims to be able to build the tracks at the quality I’m looking for.

Idon’t do super dark, I prefer more girlie melodic tracks, ones that feel like there is room for a story in it, rather than soundbytes. I can record them with a condenser mic and send back to you, no strings attached. Looking for a particular theme? Let me know I can work on that, or just let me vibe!

As I mentioned, if it’s a super dark song I won’t be great at it, so it has to be upbeat or on the funky side - I offer a fresh perspective with playful language and interesting words. Some of my work includes writing about the party scene, motivation for people to get moving, finding love in the club, etc etc..
