Disappointment

Recently, I feel like Brett’s content and commentary has been terrible. I feel like she is so stuck in being a “right-wing” influencer that she has started to promote ideas that are against her own beliefs? Couple of instances: the Ed Sheeran video, where she talks about how she doesn’t like to talk about politics. Excuse me what? That’s your whole thing ma’am. She also clearly hasn’t done any research on why people are mad at Ed Sheeran, specifically how he chooses when to support certain causes and when to stay quiet, yet still calls him apolitical. Now most recently, the Cornell 7 video. Brett made an absolute mockery of herself. Blaming the entire situation on the girl choosing to drink and do drugs, and admitting she didn’t read any of the documents. Being a victim blamer is a disgusting look, especially when as she said herself, the facts are not out yet fully. Also, she never said anything about raising her son to be different or to respect women. May I also remind everyone how the entire internet accused Brett of cheating on her husband because she wore make up to meet Clavicular a few months ago. Does no one see the correlation between that? She fuels opinions like that by saying that what happened to the poor girl is justified and saying “I would never put myself in a situation like that”. And never mentioning how it takes two to tango and some men are just disgusting!

The political climate in the U.S. is rapidly changing because of the failures of the current administration. You cannot just appeal to men and their opinions and think it’s enough to stay relevant as a right wing influencer. I hope Brett either wakes up, or whoever is funding her dumbass takes recently sees that it’s not working. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way because her entire subreddit recently has been filled with similar thoughts.

Strange Clientele Sale Experience

Hey guys, this past weekend I went to aritzia to shop the long awaited Clientele sale and something felt extremely off.

Okay for context, I’ve been shopping at aritzia for years, participating in both the winter and summer clientele sale. In the winter, I bought maybe like 10 items and a lot of them were at least 30-40% off. This summer sale, I didn’t get a single thing over 20%. Weird right? You could blame it on my taste but it just feels a little strange.

The other thing that really rattled me was, when I went up to an employee to ask about the prices of the items. Obviously, the sale is “secret” so there’s no sale price tag on the items. In previous years, an employee could scan it and see how much it will be on sale for the clients who have access to the sale. This year, the employee said that they figure out the discounts at check out based on your tier. I had never ever heard of that. She basically made it seem like Aritzia had implemented the same system as Sephora. I don’t know if this is true, but if it is, they are falsely advertising. Can someone confirm or deny?

Multiple Aritzia workers in my store said the same thing.

Not to mention how much the secret tier thing pisses me off! No one knows their tier! Not even the employees know your tier!
