Hi! I'm looking for some positivity and success stories. I'm feeling really defeated and hopeless at the minute so need some encouragement.

I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis but had some atypical symptoms. Been on biologics for nearly 2 years, and despite my pain and inflammation almost gone, my quality of life has been destroyed with fatigue and side effects from biologics.

I've decided with my rheumatologist to come off my biologics. Other options to explore are JAK inhibitors or another biologic but I don't want to go near anymore biologics after my experience with them.

Is there any hope of managing without medication? Is anyone on JAK inhibitors and what has your experience been?
