Heulandite crystals forming layer by layer as mineral rich fluids moved through a basalt cavity and built these glassy faces over time in India. I’m really happy to add this to my collection.
These are Moroccan carnelian agates. Well most are agates some are only called carnelian. I enjoyed tumbling them because they’re mostly round to begin with so stage one was quick. The rest of the steps were in the Lot-O and they took a very good polish.
This is a beautiful specimen of Glaucophane showing all its “habits”, massive, crystal and fibrous. If you look closely you’ll slender prismatic crystals. These are bluish black but you can also find grey and bluish lavender. They’re growing out of a mass of Glaucophane and there’s little fibers too.
