What worked best for your first 1,000 users?

Hi everyone,

I recently launched my first iOS app called DaysLeft, a life countdown and health insights app.

The technical side is finally done (subscriptions, App Store approval, localization, etc.), but now I’m facing the hardest part: getting users.

For those who’ve launched an indie iOS app:

What was your first successful acquisition channel?

Reddit?
TikTok?
Product Hunt?
ASO?
Apple Search Ads?
Something else?

If you could start over today, what would you focus on during the first month?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences.

Auto-Renewable Subscription Rejected Without Any Reason. No Response From Apple Support After 12 Days

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice because I'm completely stuck.

My app (DaysLeft: Life Countdown) version 1.1.6 has already been approved and is Ready for Sale.

However, my auto-renewable subscription was rejected without any rejection reason or guideline. There is no meaningful explanation in App Store Connect.

Over the last 11 days I have:

- Opened multiple Apple Developer Support cases
- Sent multiple emails
- Had 3 phone calls with Apple Developer Support
- Been promised callbacks multiple times

I currently have multiple case IDs, but nobody has contacted me with an answer.

The subscription is the only thing blocking my app's monetization.

Has anyone experienced a subscription rejection with no explanation at all?

Is there a way to escalate this beyond regular Developer Support or contact the App Review team directly?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
