Questions and observations on relapse

Hey so I’m not as huge a believer on the supernatural effects of retention as some others are in this sub. But what I do recognize is that almost every single time I relapse the next day there’s like a frequency shift for the worst; where I instinctively know now to be on guard so that I respond to post relapse days with intention. Weird shit happens post ejaculation, like people around me being in bad moods, coincidental occurrences that cause conflict, etc. This is not even mentioning my own shift in personal energy. Hormonally/physically, I literally feel different and am different, biologically speaking.

I’ve noticed these patterns over like a decade of paying attention, so it’s not like I’m viewing this through a lens of belief or superstition, it’s really just observation at this point. If you think about it, every action has a reaction, like every decision has a consequence good or bad, rarely if ever does any input in the world yield a completely neutral output. It’s like the most basic law of thermodynamics. In the case with relapse, your energy shifts, which in turn could shift the energy of those around you, etc etc resulting in what appears as good luck or bad luck. At least this is my practical interpretation.

My simple question really is, how long has it taken you guys for things to return back to normal? And what have you done that helps restore balance back more quickly? To get back on the path of clarity/ vitality that some of us here have experienced with retention.

Questions and observations on “luck”

Hey so I’m not as huge a believer on the supernatural effects of SR as some others are in this sub.

To get back on the path of clarity/ vitality that some of us here have experienced with SR. With emphasis on the latter question.

Observation, opinions from the SR conscious.

Have any of you ever looked through fetlife at any point ? Almost all of the profile pics feel like they have no vitality or sense of direction behind their eyes. Like there’s a weird neediness/ loneliness about everyone.. I’m talking both men and women..

I’m not judgmental, so it’s not that I think I’m better, like be free or whatever and to each their own, but i kind of get the ick browsing the site and get this sense of I never want to be perceived like that ever. lol. I’m not sure if any of you get the same feeling or have formerly had experience with people in that lifestyle. Curious if it’s just me.

Hi everyone. So, I took the red-blue shape pattern matching test. It’s what my current insurance will allow for. I scored borderline for it, meaning not an absolute obvious case, but my psychiatrist said the only way to conclusively tell if have adhd is if I take the neuropsych evaluation? Because the pattern attention test only measures for one aspect.

Did everyone here take that same neuropsych evaluation? I have hyper vigilance as well and pretty much have every symptom found in standard adhd questionnaires dating back to when I was a kid. Am also very familiar with the hyper focus days on end without food and barely any sleep, chronic procrastination, and not being able o sleep etc. at this point in my life im just really exhausted and unsure where line between adhd and a lack of self discipline is..

Any experiences yall have had with your diagnosis would be helpful. Thanks!
