Hi everyone,
I’m looking into using a vibration plate to help manage my lipedema, but I have a major safety concern regarding my eyes.
I have intraocular lenses (IOLs) implanted. In the past, I had a lens subluxe/dislocate twice without any clear reason, so I’m naturally very cautious about anything that causes mechanical impact or vibrations.
Since I’ve never tried or used a vibration plate before, I have no real sense of how strong the vibrations are—or if that movement could potentially affect or dislodge my IOLs.
Has anyone here with intraocular lenses used a vibration plate for lipedema? Did your eye doctor or vascular specialist give you any specific guidance on this? Any insights, personal experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I’m already planning to bring this up with my ophthalmologist during my annual IOL checkup, but that’s not until December. Since I’d really like to get a vibration plate before then, I’m hoping to gather some insights or personal experiences in the meantime rather than waiting several months just to know if it's even a safe option for me.
