Does Dreamtonics (or any of the other shops that sell SynthV directly and not just voicebanks) have a mailing list?

Hello! I would like to get my hands on SynthV, but I am on a fixed income and would like to buy it on sale if at all possible. I know that sales are infrequent, so I don't want to miss them when they happen, but I can't seem to find a mailing list for dreamtonics (or anyone else for that matter). Do y'all just keep a close eye on the websites? how is this done?

Do they even make dual inverters for less than 8,000 BTU?

Hi!

I made a post in r/hvacadvice trying to figure out what size window AC unit I should get for my 100yo apartment in NE Ohio. I've pretty well decided on a 5,000 BTU for the bedroom, and 8,000 BTU for the living area, and I had really been looking for dual inverters because I had heard they can vary how much they run and draw less power than they say they will, and basically my whole apartment is on a single 15A circuit (details here) But I can't seem to find a dual inverter smaller than 8,000 BTU. Do they not exist? Or are my articles just outdated?

How to calculate BTU for window AC?

My partner and I live in a 100yo, unairconditioned apartment in NE Ohio, and am starting to die as we get farther into summer, but I'm struggling to figure out what AC to buy. I keep getting stuck a what size AC, and I've tried to run calculations and come up with wildly different numbers very time. 18,000-24,000 BTU feels like overkill for my 350 square foot living/dining/kitchen area, and I don't even think that they make window units that big.

The whole apartment is 650 square feet, with the living/dining/kitchen area being about 350 and the bedroom/bathroom area being about 210. 8 foot ceilings. A normal amount of windows? but the windows are very old, single pane, and a little drafty. I don't know how good the insulation was, but I was overheating all winter, which either speaks to good insulation or overzealous radiators. I have southwest facing windows in the bedroom and it gets pretty warm in there.

If there's any other information I can provide, I'm happy to, but I don't know what else I need to know to be able to figure this out.

Between GE Cync, Ecosmart, Govee, Innr, and Wyze, what would you pick?

I've been using GE Cync for my smart light bulbs for a while, but due to the app malfunctioning all the time, I'd like to switch to something more reliable. I've been using this smart light database to compare, and there's a lot of great information on the bulbs themselves, but not on how annoying the system is to set up and use. Any recommendations? Horror stories? Help me narrow this down, please.

Note: I chose the brands listed because they are the ones with bulbs that are considered flicker free. My partner gets photosensitive migraines, and so any bulb with significant flicker is not an option. I am aware that Phillips Hue is considered the gold standard in versatility and ease of use, but it's not an option for me because their bulbs tend to flicker too much. They're also heinously expensive.
