Searching for more info on my dad’s side

My paternal grandfather died many years before I was born. From what I was told from my grandmother and my dad, he was not a nice person. They do not like to talk about him and don’t have any information about his relatives.

I know his name, birth date and death date, and his parent’s names. They are all from Germany. My grandfather immigrated to America in the 1950s and my great-grandparents stayed in Germany.

Name: Siegfried Karl Lumpp
Birth date: July 2, 1934
Birth place: Göppingen, Germany
Death date: May 20, 1981
Death place: Queens, NY
Mother’s name: Martha Gerstenlauer
Father’s name: Ludwig Lumpp

It feels like I have searched every inch of the internet on every ancestry site but I’m coming up blank. If anyone is able to help or provide resources I would be very grateful. Thank you 💞

Please help identifying town name

I’m doing genealogy research on my mother’s side of the family. I found my grandmother’s death certificate and I can’t decipher her birth location. I tried looking up different variations but don’t see a realistic match to any place in Naples. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Wow. Thank you everybody for your thoughtful and thorough comments. I really appreciate your help. After looking through them all I truly believe the correct answer is Rocca Imperiale. I remember being told that this side of my family is from Calabria so seeing Naples did not make sense to me. Rocca Imperiale is more plausible. Thank you all again 💞

Cream of chicken soup

I have 2 cans of cream of chicken soup that have a date of March 2024. I’m like 95% sure I can use them (cans are not damaged) but the dairy in it makes me pause. Let me know please & thank you!!
