I was headed home from work today around 1:30 PM and the whole Queensway and Cawthra intersection was closed off, I’m assuming due to car accident. Does anyone know what happened? I didn’t get a chance to look, all I saw was two police cruisers, wondering if they hit each other or if they had already cleared the area.
Hi All! In need of some potty training advice because nothing I find on the web quite fits the situation.
We started potty training our toddler and she initially did quite well until she started withholding. By day 2 she would successfully go pee in the toilet and would vocalize “need to go potty” prior to, and by day 3 we barely had any accidents.
She did not want to go poop in the potty and by day 3 got very constipated and was hysterically crying saying her tummy and bum hurts. By day 4 she started withholding both and peed pretty much only when we put on her diaper for the nap.
We decided to take a break to normalize bowels and since we had some weekend travel plans.
It took over a week to get her un-constipated and now that we are trying to restart potty training she immediately says her tummy hurts and I am nervous of the withholding and constipation again. She still occasionally says she needs to potty (even with a diaper) and will successfully pee in the toilet.
We never pressured her to potty, would offer the toilet every couple hours but it feels like she’s afraid of it. How do I get her to not be nervous and to potty and poop normally?
