Modern cluster recreation

It’s been a very long time since I’ve tried anything remotely trendy (since being scarred from the initial anime lashes craze 😆) but today I actually had fun recreating this set my new client showed me. How can I get it closer to the inspo? My client’s natural lashes have neutral growth direction with a nice curve. I used cc curl 8-11mm 4d fans for the base layer, light spike sections of 10-11-13-15mm then sprinkled 8-9mm c curl fairy lashes throughout.

do lash maps like this actually help?

in this one I color coded the lengths by layer to show how the bottom, middle, and top layers come together for this triple wispy effect. I like being able to visually break it down like that, but I’m not sure if it’s actually helpful for others or just extra.

when you’re studying a set, what do you actually want to see?

length mapping, curl, diameters, layer breakdown, coverage, styling intent?

and are there other visual tools that make things click better for you? (color coding, arrows, sectioning, before/after comparisons, etc.)

trying to figure out what’s actually useful vs just listing numbers like most do for lash maps! TIA 🫶
