I am currently on my work permit which is due to expires in around Jan. I got this document which expired early because of my passport expiring early. I have already gotten my passport renewed, and have submitted my documents through mail for my work permint extension. But it has been months since I got an update. I have filled out the web form for an enquiry - got a response saying they are processing the application but they did not provide me with any further details regarding application. Just said they are processing it which seemed to like a generic response.

Ngl the exam was difficult , nothing compared to the practice exams I took. The structure of the question was very similar to that of Dion Practice sets and i highly recommend you get at least 1 set to prepare. Alright back to the actual exam. The answer sounded so similar that the process of elimination was time consuming.

The PBQs I encountered were similar to what BurningIce has on his website, ofc not the same but still similarly structured. ii did skip 1 PBQ because i did not know what to do.

I started preparing at the start of March, and would try to study on my days off( i am currently working a regular). I would recommend try to give at least 2hrs of your day for studying and please focus more on acronyms.

So, my exam is scheduled for tomorrow. I have been doing practice exams(Dion both sets) for the last couple of days and been scoring around 80-85%. What should I prepare for currently? I have been trying to understand my weak points and going over those concepts. Thank you

Heyy guys, as the title suggests, I will be applying for a work Permit extension. I have gotten my passport renewed. My current Work Permit is expiring in Jan, 2027. My questions related to this:

1. Should I apply online or by paper? I know the IRCC website specifically mentions the paper, but I have known about people getting approval through online submission.
2. I would be visiting my home country in Sept 2026 for around 20 days. Should I submit my application now or after returning to Canada? The latter options leave me with a three-month period to submit my application. But what if I do not get a letter authorizing me to work until a decision is made? What documents can I present to my workplace so that I can work until a decision is made?
3. Online Applications tend to provide you with the work authorization letter until a decision is made pretty quickly, wouldn't applying online be a viable option in my situation?
4. Can I travel after submitting an application for extension? I still have a valid visa & a work permit till the Jan, 2027. Can I use those documents to travel & re-enter Canada?
