Career in b.sc in biotech and then mba from iim

Im 17 female

I've passed 12th this year and I want to do b.sc in biotechnology and then mba from iim .

Me and my family do not have connections with anyone who can guide me in this field.

So please if anyone has done this or has information about this , do let me know .

I'm open to advice and I guess this is the last place I'm going to ask for help too, if I don't prove that this field is actually good my parents will make me take a drop for neet or put me in a private college.

Please if anyone has any idea regarding this , the salary growth (starting and inclination) , the career growth and few valid recommendations and examples of people who have actually done it , I will really appreciate it .

Love y'all ❤️❤️

What should I do??

Hi everyone 👋🏼

I'm 17 female , I recently broke down in front of my parents because I was not able to concentrate on my studies for the past 5-6 years and nothing seems to make an improvement.

Due to some reasons I myself don't remember, why I stopped telling my parents about my difficulties, related to anything studies, friends whatsoever.

But recently the water reached above my head .

I prepared for 12th boards but they messed up the result, i prepared for neet they leaked the paper, I gave cuet they postponed the exam and now they even postponed the improvement exam date .

My college application was rejected because my 12th re-evaluation result was posted very late and college admissions were closed.

My parents supported me and are taking me to a psychiatrist this weekend, but their comments and behaviour hasn't changed at all.

They keep saying "you don't get distracted from your phone but you get distracted from studies, how come?" , "these psychiatrists don't really get patients so they try to hold onto people who come to them , they'll diagnose you with something so that you keep going back to them " , " we'll take you to the psychiatrist but beleive us you don't have any illness its just in your head , stop thinking something is wrong with you , tell yourself again and again that you are perfectly fine" , " you're just under confident , fix this and you'll be okay" .

I felt relieved when I told them , but now these comments are making me feel like I'm not having actual problems and I'm just over reacting . It's very infuriating.

But on the other hand I understand why they are saying so , because they didn't get a safe space to be themselves in their childhood , they still gave me a lot better then they had , but some things are not really at their level of understanding, they don't think in that direction because their parents always taught them to be strong and never trust anyone .

I'm confused , what should I do?? Should I tell them that their comments are very hurtful and that I'm not happy hearing those , or should I just keep silent and go to the doctor.
