Hey everyone, just released version 1.3.0 of Spline for WordPress plugin!

This update introduces full Spline Variable support inside the Animation Builder engine. Instead of just animating fixed layers, you can now control Spline Variables directly within WordPress to drive dynamic 3D interactions (like theme toggles, interactive pricing cards, or custom state changes).

Key Features in v1.3.0:

• Supports All 3 Variable Types: Number, String and Boolean.
• Multi-Trigger Support: Link variables across Click, Hover, While Scrolling, Mouse Move, and Page Load triggers.

Excited to announce a powerful new update to the Spline for Wordpress plugin! You can now control and animate Spline Variables directly inside Animation builder, opening up a whole new layer of dynamic, interactive animations.

Check out the video attached to this post! In the clip, you'll see a quick demo and tutorial on how we add a Spline variable called "PLAN" and set its values to trigger dynamic hover animations on the pricing cards.

• Full Spline Variable Support: Beyond animating individual layers, you can now target Spline variables directly to make your 3D scenes far more dynamic and creative.

• Supports All 3 Spline Variable Types:

• Number: Control numeric properties like rotation angle, scale, position, color transition steps, or custom counts.
• String: Trigger text changes
• Boolean: Toggle states on/off (e.g., switching lights, opening/closing objects).

• Available Across All Trigger Types: Use variables seamlessly with every interaction style supported in the Animation Builder:

• Click
• While Scrolling
• Hover
• Mouse Move Over Element
• Page Load

By tying scene properties to variables, you can build smoother, more complex interactions:

• Material & Color Shifts: Change colors dynamically based on scroll, hover, or mouse position.

• Interactive Sizing & Scale: Scale 3D objects or adjust parameters in real time based on user interaction.

• Theme & UI Toggles: Seamlessly link dynamic 3D elements to UI states like light/dark mode or pricing card hover states.
