I'm looking to move up from my AM4 3700x to Am5, using a 9600x as I was able to snag a 5070 from a friend recently and I know my current CPU is a bottleneck for that card.
I'm looking at the ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi mobo and 32gb of DDR5 Vengeance RAM at 6000MHz Z30.
My question is would I be able to simply drop in my current m.2 drive into the new mobo, BIOS flashback to the newest BIOS so the board is compatible with the CPU, and choose that drive as the boot drive with windows 11 already installed and ready on it without any problems?
Just added a 5070 to my setup in my slow and steady upgrade path.
Previously my 2070 was vertically mounted, but I have no clearance with the air cooler to plug the power cable in the 5070 with it vertically mounted, so I have it normal now, but idk if this bend on the GPU’s power cable is too much or not.
Everything is plugged in firmly and runs fine, I just want to make sure this bend clearance isn’t dangerous.
