This is going to be such a long shot and I’d be surprised if the post is approved but anyways…

I’m trying to find a guy named Michael from Austin, TX, whose favorite band is The Story So Far. We met at a show for some local bands at Stubbs on Saturday 8/15. We talked about music and favorite bands and gotta say his music taste was impeccable (for me and from what we discussed in between sets). I have listened to TSSF but haven’t really dove in to their discography and bet that now this band will forever remind me of this guy haha

Anyway, I guess the purpose of this post is to 1) hopefully find him and 2) give me more recs on TSSF (fav albums, live performances to watch, etc).

I’ve been playing their self-named album since yesterday (thanks to him) and know a couple of songs off What You Don’t See.

I’m mostly certain I want to divorce my husband but what’s keeping me in the “should I stay or should I go” loop is my 1.5y/o daughter.

I just want what’s best for her, and she loves both of us. The way she laughs with her dad and how she finds immediate comfort with me…I just can’t imagine her being away from either of us at a given point.

I know that a toxic marriage and home environment is worse than divorce but I guess I’m just seeking for reassurance that kids can turn out okay.
