Hi all, Looking at getting my first good knife. I don’t really want to start a collection just get a good do it all knife. I currently have a SOG seal pup elite and a Leatherman Wave plus. What is everyone’s opinions on what to get out of the original 940 and the M4 Freek. And what is everyone’s experience with corrosion with M4 ? Won’t be any crazy use currently just want a good knife that will last me years. Here in Aus the price difference is around $70 in favour of the 940

I was originally tossing up between a Benchmade 940 or Spyderco PM2, I have since been recommended a Pro-tech Malibu. What would be the best pick out of these or should I go a complete different option? Will be my first good knife.

Looking for the best option for an EDC. I was originally looking at the PM2 but concerned about the durability of the blade tip, I wouldn’t be too rough with it but just want it to last a long time and not have to worry about the tip. For comparison I was also looking at the benchmade 940. Any recommendations would be appreciated
