That is completely unfair and ridiculous.
The Ukrainian nation, ordinary Ukrainians, are making tremendous sacrifices and dying on the front lines, so stripping them of the award would be unjustified.
One can only hope that soldiers fighting for a European Ukraine will continue their struggle after the won war. Fighting by confronting the second greatest obstacle to Ukraine's integration with Europe (first one is Russia), namely the corrupt oligarchy that basically is not different at all from Putin and Russian oligarchy.
