Just a rant/question about UK i3 prices.
It's a lovely car, but a 2014/5 model with a practical range of 50-60miles and no CCS DC charging, is really only good for trips 20 miles from home.
If you're going to rely on rex then your getting 30mpg and you might as well not bother getting an ev, and if your using public chargers it really bites into the economics of running costs.
So how come these older cars command £5k price tags!?
My printer has started nagging me about a firmware update. I assume it's for the canvas upgrade which I don't have, need or want.
But I wonder if it includes failed print detection which is something I do want. Hard to imagine any detection working in the low light environment without a lighting upgrade.
Given the last firmware update and rollback in holding back to understand what the specific advantages are
Also is it just me or have they still not fixed the light switch in the slicer! And video monitoring on my phone. Any work arounds?
I picked up a sculpfun s9 on marketplace to play around with and experiment. The lightburn trial expired before I got round to using it. (Idiot for installing it before I was ready to play around) and the seller never came through on sending me a key.
Anyone have a lightburn key to share? Is that a thing? Spent 40 on the engraver. Don't want to spend 100 on the software.
Or more realistically any recommendations on what freeware to use. Currently playing with lasergrbl and inkscape.
Looking to buy a replacement and don't want to get one worse than the one I have.
