I was talking about this on another subreddit and it made me think y'all might have good recommendations too. So do you have a favorite youtube channel you enjoy watching? It can be any subject because I love stumbling upon new channels.

My favorite channel that I actually get excited when they release a new video is Space Maker Method. It's a woman that visits clients to help them organize their space but it's for free since the sponsors cover her costs. You see a lot of women with adhd etc that just struggle with getting started and finding a system that works for them. So it's cool to see each person make progress.

My favorite clients have been Dani in South Korea, Julia in NYC, and Lulu in Chicago.

Lulu in Chicago is the newest series but she is older, divorced, survived cancer, lost both her parents and inherited a lot of their items and downsized from a 4,000 square foot home to a smaller condo. It's cool to see all her stuff and see how she's managing her life going into a new phase. I love how she loves her friends and is excited about living life.

It no longer has no new content but if you never watched it check out the Under a Rock with Tig Notaro. I think Funny or Die has a full playlist of all the episodes. It's a fun watch especially if you love Tig. She doesn't really know celebrities so they come on her show and she tries to guess who they are.

Thought I would try my luck again! I’m 43 located in the US (central time zone) but I’m open to long distance within the US. I’m monogamous, childfree, not religious, and a nonsmoker who is hoping to find someone similar and close to my age. I would love a long term relationship but I like taking my time to get know someone. So, anyone who enjoys a slow burn would be a great fit for me. Friends and community are great too but I will be honest I really want a romantic connection. I already have some amazing friends (a few I have made from here!) but what I miss is having a girlfriend.

I thought I would try something different and list things I miss about having a relationship:

I miss having my person. I miss starting and ending my day with someone and knowing that if something happens, you’re the one I want to tell. It could be bad news, good news, random things I learned. I want to tell you and I hope you want to tell me about your day as well.
I miss cuddling! I’m not naturally a physically affectionate person but the right people just bring it out in me. Then it’s like I want to cuddle a lot. Sign me up a girlfriend who wanted to be my weighted blanket.
I miss taking care of someone and being taken care of in return. I know it can be hard to ask for help but it makes me happy to be able to be there for someone. If you’re sick let me bring you a heating pad and some soup. If you’re struggling with stuff at home because work is insane let me come over and wash your dishes. I miss this dynamic and having someone in my life who wants to do the same for me in their own way.
I really miss the connection. You know when the chemistry is just right and everything aligns. I miss that a lot. I told my therapist I’m really fortunate to have fallen in love and be loved in return. If I never find another relationship that’s a bummer for sure but I know I will be okay with being alone. But just because I’m not going to settle for anyone doesn’t mean I’m done. So still here and hoping I find someone who is similar to me not willing to settle but willing to see if there is a connection between us.
I miss stealing someone’s hoodies. I just am going to feel warmer in your hoodies it’s the truth.
