My parents bought my sister a new iphone and I think it's unfair.

Hi I'm (16F) and my sister is (13F) so for context, I live in a country where getting an iphone is kind of a big deal since they are a little expensive for most people here. Usually when someone has an iphone you would consider them kinda rich. My family is not that type of family at all. All we've ever had are androids. It's not a bad thing to have androids at all btw I honestly think that if you aren't going specifically for the camera on iphone, android is definitely better, lasts longer and has many good advantages.

I've never been picky about phones. I'm in 10th grade right now and the phone I've been using since last month of 7th grade is my mom's previous phone which she passed down to me. It was already being used for 2 years before it was given to me. I've never had a phone that was bought specifically for me. All the phones I have used have been passed down.

My sister got her first phone when she was in 3rd grade and I was in 5th. It was meant to be shared between the two of us but honestly she took ownership over it. That was basically her phone and I was just borrowing it.

Last month both our phones broke lol. The LCD came off mine, and hers was also broken plus getting super old. Her phone has already been repaired so many times. They got mine fixed but I still had to pay my mom half of what she spent on the repairs.

My sister has always been whining about getting an iphone ever since she entered 8th grade and saw people at school have one. My parents didn't get her phone repaired and instead bought her a new iphone 12 last week. They told me I could also use it but I knew that really. That was her very own phone. I didn't make it obvious but I really feel this is super unfair. I've never been bought my very own phone and even had to pay for my phone's repair but she gets a new iphone all paid for. She said she also helped pay for it but that phone was almost 20k php and she only paid for the case and accessories and stuff.

I hate how unfair they are so much. I know I have to understand and just compromise but I've been understanding and compromising for years. I really hate this situation. It's like they think I don't also want things like that for myself. Whenever I ask for anything I want them to pay for I'm met with the same look and response of "we don't have enough money" so I've always been one to pay for my own stuff at school and school events except for tuition. But apparently when my little sister whines and asks for something so much then she can get it.

This really sucks cause I've been keeping up my grades and getting high honors in class just to be able to ask for a reward or smth but in the end I never get anything and expectations just get higher. I want things too.

Fujifilm X-A3 ribbon cable broken

Hi so I've been using my Fujifilm X-A3 cam for a while now and one day I wanted to use it except the screen would turn blue or just disappear whenever I flipped the camera for a selfie. After a while, the camera simply stopped displaying the screen at all. When I turn it on, I can still hear the clicks of the menu and such but it doesn't display anything. I opened the screen and looked closely at the ribbon cable and noticed damage. How much would it usually cost to get this fixed?
