Hi everyone, I am a new grad student and first time living outside of my home state. Are there quality areas nearby for fishing, hunting (squirrels, deer, turkey), and dispersed camping? I have a car and am comfortable with light off-roading + backpacking into sites. Prefer no more than 4 hours by driving, bonus points for transit-accessible spots (for fishing).

where do yall go line dancing in the area? somewhere close to campus is ideal but i do not mind driving either
