Do you feel your arms and legs move or wiggle slightly as you drift off to sleep or only while you are still lying with your eyes closed?

I my hands move slightly whenever I try to sleep or I have hypnic jerks all the time from 6 months ago..

every time I lie down in bed and close my eyes to sleep while I'm still awake I even get slight hand movements, startles, I'm fully conscious, but this is always when I close my eyes and want to sleep.. also a lot of hypnic jerks, I did an EEG while awake and it's normal, my neurologist says it doesn't look like epilepsy, but does anyone know?

this has been happening for months.. I lie down in bed, relax and even before I fall asleep, an endless movement of fingers, hands, head, legs begins, most often hands.. sometimes I have a bang in my head, other times a hypnotic bang, these things keep me awake for hours... please tell me, is there anyone in this situation?
