Teen logon ka GC

Hey guys…I am looking into making a gc with the teens of ahm (I myself am 17M) to connect with people (like minded or otherwise) and meet and do something fun if and when possible…people 15 to 19 can dm me or comment here…age exceptions can be made, but it will be in accordance to the group (when made)…so anybody interested, feel free to contact…

Also, while showing interest, please mention your age, gender (if comfortable) and in which part of the city do you live so that it can be easier to assess the demographics…

Also, just one more last thing…please do not reply in Gujarati, as I am not very fluent and would prefer communications in English or Hindi…

Thanks…

P.S. Dear Mods, this post does not seek relationships or companionships…It is just a way to connect with fellow Ahm teens…but still, if it violates the said rule, please inform me and I will happily take the post down…thanks…

Edit 1: yeh gc acche intentions rakh ke banaya ja rha hai…toh koi bhi galat intentions se mat aana…also, any creeps approaching would be reported immediately (maine abhi ek ko report kiya hai)…

Hey guys!

Hi…So, I’ll come straight to point and not waste your time…I want to form a band…you ask why? A good question…Honestly, I don’t know why, but since I can remember I wanted to form a band…although earlier it was very loosely defined, but now since I have developed a little taste in music, I know in what direction I wanna go…I want to create a band that experiments, and has a range from classical music to hip-hop…
You might be wondering who this guys is…Let me introduce myself…I am a teenager (16 year old), passionate about music among other things…I can write decently, am learning the flute, am trained in tabla and have also started to learn music theory…I know my limits but still am giving my best shot…You might say “learn a little first and then look into forming a band”…That is a valid response, and honestly I also thought the same, but then discovered that a satisfactory state to ‘start’ would never actually arrive until I start and step into the arena…
[Just this last part and ISTG I will be done]
I am looking for people in situation similar to me, to join for a possible long term collaboration…I also value any guidance and tips or a little nudge in a better direction from more experienced people (and if they want to join, I will be more than happy😁)…age does not matter to me, so this is like free for all kinda thing…please dm, if you felt the smallest of resonance in this message or if you feel like giving this a shot…
Also, just a little disclaimer from my side…I dunno if this will float or sink, but I commit to give my best to the efforts…

Thanks for enduring all this yapping! 🙏🏼
[also, I did not know which flair to use]

What is going on with this country?

This post is going to be rather long, and kinda scattered because I am kinda angry

I am a 16 year old guy. I recently met my sister-like-friends. Everything was going good until they started opening about what they experience in their day to day lives. It was just disheartening to listen to. I, until then, just knew on a very general way what girls and ladies go through in the society, but that conversation forced me to put a face on everything and stare deep in the eyes of the problems.
The being ogled at by guys and men, being touched inappropriately in crowds, being stopped or called by strangers with unsafe intentions, being stalked, and what not...I was just dumbstruck when listening to all this. I mustered some courage and said, rather proudly, "Tum un logon ko seedha bol kyun nahi dete ki you are not interested?" \[Tr: Why don't you just straight up tell those people that you are not interested\]. This was followed by the "Like we never tried that?" and the "When someone touches you in such a way, your complete body freezes and your brain seems as if it has stopped working."
That was when I realised that instead of telling girls to take precautions, we should tell the boys to not make girls feel unsafe. Why can't people understand that a no simply means a no? Is it so difficult to understand that a girl is not an object to be owned, but a person to be respected?
I felt disgusting at that time, thinking that I must also have made some girl, unintentionally, feel unsafe. I was so disheartened to know that when they tell these things to their parents or in their home, they are met with the talks of "dignity" and "family honour", instead of the immediate action against the culprit and the support they deserve. Many a times, the culprit was someone from within the family.
If this was the case with females in cities, I can't even imagine what would it be like to be a lady in a village or less developed and less literate area.

Onto the next point.

Education has been made a commodity in our country, such that one can buy everything from a textbook to a rank. Every other day we hear of a new standard of scams in education sector, like the NEET paper leak, the NIFT issue, the CBSE OSM issue, and yet it has become so common nowadays that people don't even pay heed to these news anymore.
But does anyone ever think of those students who worked hard for a year (probably a few years) and yet, some greedy money mongering people trade their ethics and misalign their moral compass just to get a little more money. There have been cases of students committing suicide because of such scams and leaks and foolery, just because some rich spoilt brat did not want to study and his dad bought him the question paper a night before the exam.
Also, why is the curiosity of students killed in classrooms? Why is it that rote learning is valued more than understanding and obedience is valued more than curiosity and the hunger to learn?

Onto the next point.

Is the youth of our country dumb or lethargic? When someone calls you a cockroach, and as a retaliation, the most you can do is join a meme party, then maybe you deserved it. W e are living at the grassroots of this country. We face the LPG shortage, we face the power cuts in summers, we are the ones who have to deal with water shortage, we are the ones who have to drive on bumpy roads and we are the ones who have to pay high prices for vegetables and commodities.
The ministers have enough in their pockets already, with their bungalows, cars, cooks, foreign trips and a parliament for daily entertainment (not throwing shade on anyone or anything, just an observation I made). They are already busy deciding which comedian to arrest next (in my opinion some deserved it, while some did not...debate for some other day).
Shouldn't we be the ones that actually work on the problems we face? Now this can be countered with the very true logic that we pay tax and it the government's job to take care of the country, and I absolutely support that very logical argument. But let them be busy with transactions of chocolates and photos (again, no hate, just an observation).
We already have enough evidence that gen z can actually get together (examples given, CJP and nepal protests). Here I am citing the nepal protests to show that people, if they wish, can come together, and not to instigate riot like activities.
My central argument is that we cannot remain dependent on the government anymore. We must learn to solve a few of our problems ourselves.

Here is what I am asking you all to do.
1)If you have read this post and liked my arguments, please comment. If you did not like, please feel free to correct me (respectfully). I am speaking here as the youth of the country.
2)If you feel that we have the power to constitute something to save our Bharat and make it a place better than yesterday, each day, comment. Because I am thinking of starting a non-political volunteer body of Indians, who work on these elementary problems and try to solve them.
3)If you are neutral, comment for better reach.

At the end, I would like to remind you all that these are grievance I have seen people face. There are surely many more like corruption, delay in government systems, discrimination, unresolved issues and what not which I could have included, but i did not, because you already know more than enough about those. Also, all the things said are just to show things. I do not want to malign any party's image or anything. I just want the people to realise their own power and use it constructively (remember, we come from the land of Budhha and Mahatma Gandhi).

I am a youth of this country, and I am proudly and rather fiercely saying that I can work to make it better!

P.S. This post is a bit unpolished and jumpy and abrupt and switches directions. I flowed with the writing, and did not realise it. If it bothers anybody, I am extremely sorry...If this is not the place for this kind of post, please point me towards the correct direction...Thank you for bearing with me...

I am looking for some collaborators.

Hey guys,
I am a teen guy, wanting to realise my vision of a song into reality. I have the lyrics ready and the music that I want in my mind, but since I am not trained (nor do I have the talent), I am not able to make the song as I want. I have tried using GarageBand and other softwares but I simply am not able to do it. I do not know if this is the correct sub (if not, please point me towards the correct direction) but I am here to ask you guys for help.
If any of you compose music or sing, please help me to make this song. I am aiming for a little fusion style something, with poetry by Faiz, Hindi lyrics, A doha by Kabir and a rap verse too (the first draft of lyrics is available on demand)…Non composers are also welcome on the team to provide feedback. Please comment on this post or DM me to discuss further details like splits/credits.
I am also open to a few changes, if they seem appropriate.

P.S. I am also thinking to start a band, so this could be the first project of a whole group…you never know…the floor is open for discussion.
