Can't wait for my next PUP show

I started listening to PUP in like 2020 (I know it hasn't been that long), but I am fortunate enough to be attending my fourth PUP show this August. I am so grateful for everything this music has done for me. I feel like every time they release new music, it's like they are inside my head, expressing all the feelings I can't.

The first show I ever went to was during an extremely low point in my life. I had just moved to a new city, so I didn't have anyone to go with. I went alone. I had never been in a mosh pit before, it was scary. I wasn't expecting the initial rush at the start of the set, and I ended up falling down. A bunch of giant dudes helped me up and made sure I was okay. I also remember that by the time they got to the end of Scorpion Hill, I was crying, everyone was singing, I was covered in mud, and I felt whole for the first time in a really, really long time. The community is unparalleled.

This is just a pic from my first show!

How to Actually Learn ANSYS

It's the summer between school years (I just finished 2nd year mechanical engineering undergrad), and I want to learn FEA software. The options online (Udemy and Coursera so far) are lacking. I took an FEA theory class, but they had no assignments that used software. I have done some ANSYS Static Structural examples through Udemy and the ANSYS Online Academy thing so far. I feel as if I am more copying the steps than really learning.

How do I actually get FEA experience? I would like to gain some this summer, but not sure how to go about it and can't find any good resources. Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

Confused about if my SSN has been mailed out because of SAVE Case Status

I went to the SSA office on may 7th. When I was there, the guy who was helping me said that because I had entered the US only 2 days before, the system was having an issue verifying documents. He didn't really explain what the consequence of this was, but he did give me a letter saying I can expect the SSN in about 2 weeks. (He also said verbally that I did not have to come back to the SSA office.)

I decided to do some more research and learned about the SAVE verification process and the required manual verification steps because I had just entered the US 2 days prior.

I am trying to confirm whether my case has been "approved" or not. The SAVE status confuses me because it says a date of May 7, 2026 with a status of "Returned to Agency". I cannot find any clarity on what this actually means. I have seen a lot of things saying that this means now the SSA still needs to process the application.

I really need the SSN to start my internship and I am wondering if I am in the all clear because the guy at the counter gave me that letter, or even if there is a secret "Case Closed" SAVE status that will let me know what's going on. Any help/information is greatly appreciated.

I am going to the SSO on May 8th and my internship starts the following Monday (May 11). This was the earliest possible appointment I could find. I am even driving 2 hours out of town for this time slot. I am trying to get the SSN as fast as possible.

I was wondering what I should expect at the SSO? Should I be worried about my meeting there potentially causing any delays? Is it a relatively straightforward process? Anything to calm my nerves would be appreciated
