Flying from Santiago to El Calafte?

Is it doable or crazy to take a flight from Santiago to Buenos Aires (16hr+ layover) from 5:45pm to 10:10am next day and spend the night in Buenos Aires? Our connection to El Calafate would leave 10:10am next day so I was thinking maybe we could go out, have a nice dinner, sleep and head back to the airport around 8:30am? We land in AEP and leave from AEP with the connection.

Any flaws in this plan? Is AEP quick on security? We would check out bags and only take our carry on/personal bag to spend the night out of the airport.

Profile photo significantly different than guest + unresponsive to chat

Not sure how to handle this as what I’ve read seems to show that Airbnb doesn’t do too much to accurately verify any identity and it seems hard to get out of this. I don’t have verification turned on but have instant booking. Got a booking 1.5 hr before checkin. Messaged the guy a welcome almost immediately and check in details message just before the time. Heard nothing back. 1:45am someone enters the house (self check in which is fine). I don’t see him before he leaves in the morning. I then get a message saying he broke off the shower head… I try to get more details about what happened, no answer, check in again to ask for a good time to have someone come fix the shower and nothing. While out, I got a ring doorbell notification and checked it out of habit and noticed the man is totally different race and build from the profile picture on the account. I then went back through the doorbell footage and since check in it has been this man. If someone else booked for whoever this person is, that would make sense why the messages go unanswered. Do I confront the person in messages? Go to Airbnb support? It’s a shared space, renting a spare bedroom and I don’t feel comfortable going back or staying at the house knowing nothing about this person. Profile pic is a mirror selfie of a muscular white man with very short hair and guest in my home is overweight, not white and has thick head of hair.

International travel while waiting for selection?

Package has been submitted. Just waiting on the yay or nay now for selection. Given the background check and having to list prior international travel, I was curious if need to limit travel while I wait. Plan to ask recruiter but wanted to ask here first in case it would be wasting their time asking. Do they care if you take an international vacation? Would be back well before anything is announced.

Edit for context: I’m a civilian
