What are we bribing our toddlers with to stay in their room until the light turns green?

I have an early riser (5-5:30am) and I need him to stay in his room until 6am. We have a gro clock to tell him when he can leave his room but it doesn’t work. I need bribe ideas people. We’ve tried the star method for prizes, timers, trips to the dollar store or toy store for a big prize, a sleepover with mama, etc. He does not care. Help meeeeeeeeee 💤🥱

EDIT : we do walk him back to his room everytime and make him wait. It’s been two months of absolute meltdowns and continuous walking back and forth. We’ve also tried adjusting his sleep schedule (later/earlier/ shortening nap, etc) he just wakes up early he’s been like this since he was 1.)

I present…awkward Ciabatta!

New to bread baking. My first attempt at Ciabatta bread, born out of giving up on trying to make my own sourdough starter. Any and all feedback welcome, especially advice on stretching and shaping 😬

I doubled the recipe thinking I would get 16 buns for sandwiches but when I started stretching some parts were too thin so I tried to re shape them into these “loaves”.

Hi there - as the title suggests I’m looking to buy my husband a fishing kayak for Father’s Day. We live in Southern Ontario, and he would use it mostly around Lake Simcoe area and on random camping trips. My budget is around $2000. I’m not sure where to start. Is a pedal one the best way to go? I’m sure he’d like it better than paddling. Or can I get one with a troller for around that price point? I want this to be a surprise and send him off for the weekend. I don’t want it to be, here’s $$ go get a fishing kayak.

I have no idea where to start so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: wow everyone is so helpful, thank you! I’m adding some more info on my husband’s specs as suggested:

- Husband is around 6’0, 200lbs. He’s a tradesmen and as a result has back issues.

- He is a conventional tackle fisher. Enjoys fishing small and large mouth bass, pike, walleye.

- He’d tow in his truck bed (~6.5ft), regular height truck. Would prefer to not to need a trailer to haul it. And would launch out of public docks in our area, on camp sites and docks at friend’s cottages.

I’ve looked at the Pelican Catch 110HDII, it’s within budget and seems to fit what I think his preferred length and weight would be. No one has recommended it though so I’m curious if this is a bad option? I read it doesn’t pedal backwards, would that be annoying for a pedal kayak?
