I know this is a topic that's been debated to death and that's not my question. I'm just starting QoS now and undecided if its going to be a tandem read or not. BUT, IF I were to tandem read, how do I go about it?

I'm reading the ebooks on Kindle, I have a guide as a screenshot but I'm afraid I'll just keep reading one book and forget where I was supposed to stop. Did you go through the entire book and mark the stops and then begin reading?

(may contain spoiler ahead) I'm in the middle of reading Queen of Shadows so I don't know if these are addressed later in the series but I have 2 questions-

1. Lysandra told Aelin that not even Arobynn knows about her shape shifting heritage but she gets captured based on his will. How is that possible?

2. If Aelin and Aedion are cousins, why doesn't Aelin have the fae-like capabilities that Aedion seems to have? (ablitity to detect scents etc)
