Looking for some help and ideas here. I have UAE trade license for a while now but no visa. Recently got first client and naturally they need company bank account to send money into. And yes WIO is the easiest I have heard. And even though it is small payment but there will be more small ones as we are just starting it off.

Company is in Sharjah via freezone.

But here is the bigger problem

- company doesn’t have establishment card (rejected twice without reason)

- I don’t have residence visa (as I don’t live there )

- to open company account we need either one person to be resident or a resident signatory

My options:

(A) get a freelance visa, go to uae, become resident and then open company account. Long process

(B) ask a friend or someone to be signatory and then ask fz to assist with account (it’s a service they do)

What’s a better option, also that doesn’t take months.

And any other insight or options?

If anyone’s applied for talent, or influencer golden visa that came out recently and has to be nominated from creator hq please share your experience

I have creator hq membership approved but I see no option to fill any form for nomination of content creator visa.

Previously I have looked into other GV categories where I may qualify too, such as talent, and freelancer Gv. But it seemed like their are longer routes for that and with content creator I thought it might be bit more straight forward with creator hq but I see no option of doing that. How can I go about it

Genuinely question and I’m curious. Why with Iran and US negotiations, UAE isn’t part of these conversations, considering that UAE was hit the hardest of all the only gulf country mediating negotiations is Qatar.

Is it not THE most important thing to uae to have regional stability so that tourism and other business sectors can feel secured?

I understand why Israel isn’t part of it because they probably do not support an agreement that can bring end to this war, but why UAE isn’t part of these talks.

Is it normal, or bug in latest release or I’m missing something.

I have installed directus on 2 instances.

Few days ago theme switch (admin ui settings > appearance) worked fine.

Today it doesn’t. Stuck on light in instance one and stuck on dark in instance 2. My Mac OS is set to dark, I tried all 3 but no change.

For dark theme defaults dark is selected.

What am I missing as I’m new to directus
