Hey all, I'm looking to downsize so I need to sell an expensive piece of equipment. I know of Reverb, but it's not very popular here in Australia. Not sure of other platforms except eBay and Marketplace.

I've sold a car on Marketplace but nothing else of high value. I'm not sure what's safest/easiest, though I'm not in a huge rush to sell.

For those who have sold their gear in the past, what would you recommend?

I am NOT selling it on Reddit so don't get any ideas

Currently don't have access to my guitar but I want to keep learning quite desperately. I think something that could be useful is learning to recognise notes, so is there any app I can use for this?

Otherwise, what other tips would you have for someone who wants to learn guitar without having a guitar on hand? I know it sounds dumb.

We've recently moved into a rental property in Victoria (can't post on the sub because of the minimum karma). It's a nice enough place. Have had a few minor problems but after going out and purchasing soups and pasta while we wait for our appliances to arrive, we've found that the oven/cooktop supplied by the REA does not work and it's fucking filthy. Actually the whole place is pretty gross and the air con filters are all absolutely disgusting, like one of them is so unbelievably caked up I'm surprised it even works.

Anyway, we've sent photos and the request to the REA for the oven and the filth. Tried calling and sending texts but haven't had an answer after several hours.

It's cold, we're hungry, oven is an urgent issue that needs resolving. Can anyone offer some advice on what to do here on a Sunday afternoon? We don't want to spend more on takeaway just because the REA didn't check their oven worked. Thanks all.

Would be cool to have more focus on posts regarding the actual production of drum and bass, instead of just a constant stream of self promotion, like r/edmproduction.

Just got my XDJ-XZ out again and noticed that in the middle of a song, it'll skip forward maybe half a beat and completely throw my shit out of time. It's never done this before and I'm using the same USB that I always do.

I'm gonna try formatting my USB and transfer my library again but it's not just one song, it's happening on everything I play and seems to be only when I have both decks going at the same time.

Has anyone else had this happen? What caused it?

Had my XM2 8K for a few months now and whether it's plugged into my PC or my laptop, it just disconnects itself randomly. I'll hear the disconnect noise from the other room if my computer is idle, otherwise it just disconnects and leaves me without a mouse until it's unplugged and reconnected.

Just now it happened, keyboard and everything was still working, then I got a WDF_VIOLATION "BSOD" and still had to reconnect the mouse after rebooting lol

It's only started doing this the last couple months. I haven't updated the firmware/drivers or anything in recent times due to the fun little exploit they had and tried to quietly cover up.

Could it be a fault with the mouse itself? Seems disappointing if that's the case, because my old SteelSeries lasted much longer (but eventually the battery died).
