I’ve got a 4 month old puppy and she’s finally cleared to walk on public ground/grass (yayyy!)

We live on right in the center on Main st in downtown (ugh) and it sucks there isn’t grass directly outside our apartment. I know we’ll need to walk to a spot where we can enjoy a park or a bit more grassy space. Any city dog owners have recommendations for where to go to get some outdoor peace? Maybe a chill low traffic courtyard/garden type area? The known parks nearby seem to be overtaken by tweakers and as a solo women it’s just not always comfortable.

Pretty much daily, I plan to drive us to WRL and Reverchon/Katy trail but is there anything walking distance?

Ay! Any cool people here enjoy biking around WRL? Been living in Dallas for a year and half now and haven’t managed to make many sporty friends. Im on a vintage road bike (Lotus challenger) w flat pedals so it’s not really possible to keep up with you fast dudes on modern bikes (i wish). However im a strong cyclist that enjoys faster pace and chiller rides. My rides are usually 20 miles + but love a 50 miler with good company. I’m a chick and I’m 27.. please don’t be creepy, be cool!
