Going through some maintenance, want opinions please

By habit and the owner not knowing, I am replacing a lot of basic stuff at 141k miles on a 2004 e53 6 speed. Has an evap leak and running lean in back 1 and 2. The Evap leak I’ll smoke test for.

Things I am doing:

-maf
-intake boot
-upstream and downstream O2s
- thermostat kit with a metal one (actually needs to be replaced it’s moving the tiniest bit on the highway towards the cool side)
- water pump kit with a metal one
- radiator hoses
- spark plugs
- ignition coils
- front cv axles (needs to be replaced
- a rebuilt vanos system bolt on ready
- valve cover gasket
-ofhg
- grommets
- new rotors and pads (they’re squeaking)

and some other junk I can’t remember. I had the money. Figured I’d give the old girl a tune up since I don’t have records on those. Should I do the radiator or will there be an obvious sign to replace that, you think? Currently it doesn’t have a lot of vent fins.

Staying in Scott’s Valley

Anyone want to hang? I’m here until Monday night. I’m 33/m/FL (a/s/l for those that remember) and just beat brain cancer, so you must be able to suffer with intermittent main character energy.

Adventures you can join:
- hiking a trail where I can see some real forest/redwoods
- going to the golden state bridge
- going out Sunday night dressed up for a fancy dinner (cioppinos and was told to get the cioppino) it’s an Italian place apparently.
- smoking joints and cruising the 1 listening to each others playlists. Just did my house music playlist from Pacifica to Santa Cruz. 10/10 when the beat drops at the tunnel.
- help me get some drone footage or you some drone footage.

Guess my dream car

Not original knob. She needs a small amount of work to be perfect, and I found a hell of a deal. Her name is Chel-Sea (I live by the ocean)

2004 x5 e53 6speed. New to me

I hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday. My BMW journey started back in 2017 when my buddy and I went drifting in his 2002 e39 m5. It had been Dinan built and Dinan tuned. He let me rip on it a couple of times. Obviously, I fell in love. Fast forward to 2020, and I got rid of my zx3 turbo, and I got a 2019 x1 m sport off a lease. Once again, I fell in love with a euro.

Now, I found the exact car I wanted. A e53 3.0i 6 speed. It is the sport package with a full dinan exhaust. No drone, thank God. I’m not a fast driver anymore unless I’m on my bike. I like to cruise in comfort, and this suv/truck is perfect. I do wish 1st gear was longer, but that’s okay.

What should I be replacing at 140k miles? I can do almost all the work myself. When you comment, please note if I should have a shop do it or if I can do it myself, just in case it’s very specific and needs a professional/warranty.

My list so far:
- cooling system update (plastics, water pump, and thermostat) fan was just replaced
- front cv axles (passenger is clicking lightly so doing both)
- 2 window regulators that are broke both on passenger side (annoying but easy)
- ignition coils
- spark plugs
- oil change
- vanos system
- valve cover gasket
- all gaskets related to oil (I can smell it after I park it, but I can’t find the leak)
- o2
- map
- ICV

Things already replaced:
- Radiator fan
- front control arms/ball joints/shocks

I know all BMWs have their unique problems. I work on cars, and I’m willing to spend money on quality parts to make this last another 100k miles. Like, my 2019 motor mount on my x1 went out at like 40k miles. Easy fix but still annoying. I grew up working on fox body/rangers, but the difference is astronomical in handling and power, so I’m getting away from American finally.

Employment lawyer recommendations

I hope you all are well. My union lawyer has recommended I get an employment lawyer after seeing my situation. The union lawyer can only pursue the contract, which he did successfully. It would be for ADA and FMLA violations. The FDOL and EEOC are already investigating my employer, but I have a terminal disability and I want to take a step back and relax finally. I have a timeline of evidence already prepared. I have multiple meetings with employment attorneys next week.
