Any help looking for work

Sorry to be another person posting about looking for work on here but I had to leave my last role as it was killing me. My background is science (pharmacology degree), education (qualified teacher) and have done admin, events, process improvement on HE and worked in youth services for a local authority.

Have been applying for stuff at both unis, office stuff all over the place and am considering going back to teaching in a cover role. I look on the standered job sites, linked in company websites etc. I have a morgage so really need to be on a min of £29k for full time work. If anyone knows of anything going i might be a fit for or can put me in touch with anyone who has roles going that would be amazing. Really don't want to loose my house I have worked so hard to get.

Solar on unlined roof

So I may be able to get solar and battery storage via the warm homes grant. I had someone out today to start the assessment and the only potential issue for solar would be the fact that my roof is unlined (1930 end terrace, no issues with the roof as far as im aware). He explained that I could have it lined from the inside, which im not sure how that would work.

So I wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience with getting solar on a unlined roof or getting a roof lined for solar and how much that would cost? Also what are the potential issues and best steps to avoid these if I do get the system?

I have had quotes from octopus and a local company, both of which came out and checked the house, and they did not bring it up.

Small ecoflow stream set up

With the news about plug in solar i have been having a look at potential systems to start saving and off setting before I can afford a full system.

Have seen this kit from ecoflow to go onto my south facing wall initially. Noticed there is no battery so will get a ecoflow stream too. Wanting to check will this be all I would need to get started initially. Happy yo get an electrician out for anything that needs one when it comes to it.

Just got these yuzu trees how can i make them as happy as can be?

Hi all, first time here.

I have just got these two yuzu trees as I was finally able to get my first home. Im so happy as I have wanted them for years and am over the moon that one has even come with a fruit on it (if a little battered). I have done some research and know they will need citrus soil and citrus fertiliser and about frequency. But would love any advice for growing these on.

I am thinking they are quite dense and will need a prune but think I need to do that closer to the end of summer? The top new green shoots are a bit flat but think they will spring back now they are not in a box. One was kinda snapped but the outer layers where still attached and looker ok so I have gently tied it back together with a thin bit of PTFE tape (as thats all i have to hand rn)

The soil they have come in is still wet and a bit dense but they did say that on the advert, I will look to repot early next spring to avoid shocking them. But I will get some heavy decorative pots to put them into for now to stop them blowing over In the winds.

I am in two minds if I bring them in during the winter as I have seen they are hardy to -10, so i might insulated the base a bit more and put some frost fleece over when it gets cold.

P.s there was a second smaller fruit that fell off in transport so I have that on the window ledge to see if it will ripen a bit if not I will use the zest and see what i can get out of it.

Any suggestions on what im thinking of or have missed? Im growing in the Midlands of the UK in a South facing garden in a fairly windy down hill location.

Will I need to do another test to join mensa/ can I join

So I have heard about mensa in passing a couple of times in the past and recall briefly looking into joining but never followed through. I recall seeing somthing about being able to submit some types of previous cognitive tests to join without having to do another.

Back when I was 18 I was diagnosed with dyslexia and got a Ed phycologist report from it to formalise the diagnosis. I was bord flicking through it the other day and found the test results as below. With me already having these test done could I submit this somehow to join. Currently out of work and looking for anything to find new opportunities to learn or just add to my cv to stand out.

General level of cognitive functioning

Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (4". Ed. U.K.):

General Ability Index (GAI) = 145* high ability 99.9 percentile)

Verbal Comprehension Index = 147* high ability Perceptual Reasoning Index =129 above average ability * Comprehension sub-test substituted for Information sub-test 85-115 Ii statistically average range

Verbal Comprehension Index Scale Results

Scaled Score

Similarities 19

Vocabulary 16

Comprehension 18

Perceptual Reasonina Index (Non-Verbal) Scale Results Scaled Score

Visual Puzzles 14

Block Design 15

Matrix Reasoning 16

Within each scale individual sub-test scaled scores vary from 1 to 19, and the average scaled score range or each sub-test is 8 to 12 (corresponding to the Standardised Score range of 85 115). Below 8 is below average for age, above 12 is above average for age.

General level of cognitive functioning.

Cherry tree dropping leafs

I have recently got my first garden and planted a Stella cherry tree about 2 months ago. It was not in great shape when I got it and i have been fighting ants and aphids from day 1.

It has managed to bounce back but then leafs started dropping (see photo of dropped leaf) and curling but I figured that was due to the aphids. What do I need to do to save the tree?

Context

Uk Midlands

South facing garden with lots of sun

Have used an organic fungal treatment as I was worries it was that but seems to not be but I could be wrong.

Lgbt relationship councillor/ therapist

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but does anyone know of any nottingham city based therapist that are good with lgbt relationship therapy? I am not looking for couples therapy but would like to have someone to take to about some current bits within my relationship. The nature of what i would like to discuss is very much so linked to lgbt identity hence why I would like to find simple with an understanding of food type of relationship dynamic.

If anyone knows of one please leave there details in the comments of dm me. I am happy to pay to go privet as I know the nhs is not equipped to support me at this time of is you know what the hourly rates are too that would be great. Ideally this would be face to face but also happy to do online if anyone knows anyone good who does those. Thanks in advance.
