Looking for ideas on how to mount the front monitor panel in a way that will support the weight of a flat panel+TV, be removable, but have hidden hardware...

I am building a big ass 4p cab around a 32" LCD TV for the screen. Panels will be standard 3/4" mdf.

My plan was to make the front panel something I can remove in the future in case the TV dies or I want to do something different with the monitor itself. So no using the standard wood glue+nails+batten method. Then I figured I'd just bolt through them onto a support that is permanently attached to the cab. But I don't really love the idea of visible bolt heads on the front.

Would 4 threaded inserts (E-Z Lok 10mm deep) screwed into the back side of the mdf panel be strong enough to support the weight of the mdf panel itself and the tv? If not, does anyone have any other suggestions?

The worst part about scanning? "Units Received. Units Received. Units Received. Units Received. Units Received. Units Received. Units Received. "

I'm tempted to dive into modding just to remove this one sound file as it appears that there isn't one today that only removes this one.

Edit: I know you can turn the voice off entirely. I LIKE the voice on in pretty much every other case. It's just this one line that repeats so much that it gets on my nerves.

edit2: /u/UpperAcanthisitta892 just created the mod to fix this if anyone else is looking. (Nexus mods link). Just tested it out and it works as intended. Thanks!

Forgive my ignorance here, but is there a way to tell the class (S, A, B, C) of a crashed ship WITHOUT exiting your current ship?

I am trying to farm an S-class Sentinel Interceptor. I have a planet where I like the ship design, but farming echo locators is so damned tedious, only to end up with a C class ship. I read that some people will set a save beacon before accessing the ship's coordinates, then reload if it is a low class. But I cannot figure out how to determine the ship's class without getting out and walking over there. And getting out of my ship creates a new save, overwriting the older one.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to check it from the air, or to create a separate save from just the use of the beacon?

Thanks in advance.

Best grocery store or reasonably priced cakes?

My wife always gets Publix cakes, but honestly, I'm not a big fan. Any other recommendations? I know there are a ton of nice higher end bakeries, but I'm not looking for anything too expensive. Something in the $30-60ish range for like a 1/4 sheet?

Thanks in advance.

What forms of proof do you attach when claiming WCQI attendance for your RUs?

This is my first time attending the annual conference. I was told that most people include a scan of their badge as a form of proof, but my wife threw mine away thinking I wouldn't need it. Anyone else have any other suggested methods to prove attendance? I was thinking a copy of my registration receipt and a copy of the "my schedule" view from the conference app. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Also what category does that go under? I assume either professional development, continuing education, or meetings/events. But I could see an argument for all three.

I'm most of the way through book one. I like the world and general concept, but some of the writing still feels amateurish at times. It's also clearly a handful of shorter RR chapters wearing a single book shaped trenchcoat. That being said, I am enjoying it and fully intend to keep going through all of them.

There is ONE thing that is bugging me that I'm wondering about though. As the title says, it's the chuckling and little noises. I really don't like the narrator's delivery on these and it's a LOT.

I'm sure some of it is written, but I also wonder how much of it is just the narrator acting out a scene.

So is this an author issue, or narrator, or both? And does it improve in later books?
