New 21700s from Convoy!

Ordered some new 21700 cells for my lights and they were shipped in the goofiest hosts lmao, they're massive, I'm guessing they're meant for the 26650 because the 21700 looks tiny inside.

They actually work though, they're the basic zoomie type but I wonder about the durability if actually used regularly.

The 21700s arrived rather dirty but the wrappers are intact, they were most likely just rattling around in the host during shipping.

Lighted switch compatibility

Hello everyone!

I recently received my new brass S2+ from Convoy, along with a brass button and red light switch.

Unfortunately, the switch does not like the brass version for some reason. I tried a bunch of different combinations (swapping out switches, batteries, tubes, heads and tails, etc.) and found that the blue switch works but gets a bit dim after the first on/off cycle, the amber switch simply does nothing (doesn't even turn the light on) and the red switch behaves just like in the video.

The Cu S2+ runs all the switches without a problem, so does the Ti variant, the brass version is the only one with the issue. I've contacted Simon to see if there's anything to be done but we'll see.

Vendedores ambulantes.

Old S2 modes

Hello everyone! My S2+ Ti driver died for no apparent reason and I don't have a replacement so I simply swapped the whole pill from my old S2 and it works but I simply can't get into the mode selection.

I've tried a few combinations (10 clicks, 15 clicks and 20 clicks) at different speeds and none of them seem to be able to go into mode selection.

Anyone know what I'm missing?

Tandorio "Captain Willard" homage.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to show my latest acquisition lol, it's also my first bronze watch so that'll be interesting with the future patina development.

I wanted a dive style watch since my other two are field style and this homage really got my attention, I was on the fence due to my wet noodle wrist (7.5") but it actually fits really nice and it doesn't look huge either. I swapped the THICK leather straps it came with for some Seiko SRPH29 synthetics and it feels excellent.

I don't have any synthetic NATO straps at the moment but I would definitely like to check the way it looks in those eventually.

Molicel capacity loss.

Just posting the capacity loss on this cell after 3 years of use in a Convoy S21a with a green light switch.

Molicel P42a 4,200mAh

Lost capacity: 8.5% (+/-)

The S21a is on my light rotation probably 60% of the time (especially when I work the weekend) so it's usually fully charged/discharged twice a week. The green switch is probably on 48 hours per week.

It's a pretty solid combination imo, that light is an absolute tank.

Timex Expedition North Titanium.

I got myself the Expedition North Titanium but I didn't like the strap it came with so I swapped it for a NATO style leather strap from the same brand (I think lol). I like the feel and look much more now.
