Before and after. Covered a table from FB marketplace.

I normally cover IKEA Lack tables with comics and modge podge (finishing it off with a later of yacht varnish). This time, I tried covering a table I got cheap online with images from an old birding book. Next I'll be making an identical one, except covering it work images from a wildflower book.

Just finished my Alan Moore themed table: made from Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, and Swamp Thing

I cover tables--mostly IKEA tables--with old/damaged comics. I found this larger table in the IKEA dented and dinged section, and decided I wanted an Alan Moore themed comic made with some of my favorites. Here is the result! I look forward to adding this one to my library in August! (I'm a high school librarian)

Made with old damaged comics, modge podge, and then sealed with yacht varnish. After all was said and done, it ended up being about a 3 week process.

Thrift store find yesterday: all books were 10¢ each!

A little beat up, but really cool to get these four volumes for 40 cents!

I use old, beat up comics to modge podge IKEA tables. One comic I used a while ago was an ElfQuest comic. I didn't know much about it, just liked how the art worked with the other comics for the table I was covering. Fast forward to yesterday and I saw these in the thrift store, all four volumes, so I thought it was a great chance to read it all. Loving it so far.

Don't worry, even though these have some creases and worn edges/corners, I won't be using these to cover any IKEA tables.
