I have been enlightened

Buddy has a couple of DR650s and invited me to go riding.

Wow. So much torque. Cruised highway no problem. And the best part... really not too heavy. You'd think that something with significantly more torque than the smaller dual sports would be significantly heavier, but it's really not. Maybe I'll feel it once I hit dirt more, but I'll keep my KLX 230 in the stable for those times.

It's crazy that it feels like Suzuki perfected the dual sport 30 years ago. I can't imagine any other bike serving its purpose any better.

He let me ride both of his; one was on aggressive knobbies and the other was on road-biased 70/30s. The one on knobbies felt unresponsive, like it wandered around the road. The road-biased one felt incredibly precise. Do tires really make that much of a difference? This explains so much...

Biore UV Aqua Rich - total failure, got sunburned

front picture

rear picture

Having only used American sunscreen, I was happy thinking I finally found a sunscreen that doesn't feel like slime.

I ordered Biore UV Aqua Rich off of eBay from overseas. It was just Asian lettering all over the bottle and packaging, aside from its name. It felt great going on my skin!

I applied some when I was first outside for the day at around 8:20, and a little more at 9. I spent some time in the sun, but most still in the shade, especially from 12-1. I reapplied more at 1. Pretty much the same as I've used American sunscreens.

I used probably about half of the bottle between these applications, and around 2pm, I noticed I was burnt! My arms and legs are red; only my face has been somewhat spared, probably because of my hat. It's like it did nothing, even though I applied lots of it all over my body! (wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and hat) I was only in the sun for short few-minute stints at a time, with most of the time being in the shade.

What is going on? Is this stuff just useless for very white people? Is there something more effective I can try that feels similar?

Edit: Sorry y'all, I didn't realize "Asian lettering" is apparently bad. The reason I mentioned that was to differentiate it from the Americanized formula, which has English. I'm unable to differentiate between Asian languages so I don't know what term to use here, and so far everyone has complained but not offered the correct terminology.

I failed a personality test

A job I'm looking at had me take a "resiliency - traits" test. Before each section of answers, there was a tidbit saying that the answers won't be used to determine whether to hire me - just to see what position I'm the best fit for.

A lot of the questions seemed incredibly discriminatory, such as ones about concentration & multitasking (I have ADHD) and getting overwhelmed (I have autism and can get overstimulated, though it's manageable with accommodations I can handle myself)

I got an email back from the recruiter saying I failed. Even more odd is that they're giving me the chance to re-take it. This implies that they think either I was dishonest in my original answers, that I've somehow changed that quickly, or that even they know the test is BS.

How can you perceive your urethra, if you even can?

Can you feel it with your fingers? Can you see it if you look down there?
