SS2 is easily one of the greatest games ever made.

I always felt like System Shock 2 was the underdog compared to other games from that era, especially Half Life. And while I enjoy Half Life and absolutely love the game and its sequel, I can't help but notice that SS2 should've been the cultural phenomenon that Half Life was.

Don't get me wrong both games can and will ofcourse co-exist. And I get that SS2 is a bone crushing experience which makes mainstream popularity impossible.

But what this game offers, the replay value, the depth of its systems, and how well ideas were implemented to make the Von Braun feel like this nightmarish slog devoid of life and hope... Magnificent. That's really what this game is.

The voice acting is probably the best I ever heard in a game. It's so incredibly well done, it doesn't even feel like acting anymore. The soundtrack is peak, the gameplay is insane.

This game is a testament to everything gaming used to be.
They truly don't make games like this anymore.

Post game depression is real with this one.

Shaft spin on Sanjuks

The way I get it: A bolt shaft has a screw at the bottom. Tightening that screw, will stop the shaft from spinning. How does that work?

If the bobbin has no hold on the shaft, how does the screw stop the spin?
Maybe im retarded, but an explanation would be amazing before I go and order a bolt shaft.

Im on a V5A. The newer model recently re-released.
It has crazy shaft spin wich I would like to get rid of.

Doesn't the width of the shaft actually matter in this?

Any VM6R users from europe/germany here? How much customs did you pay?

The only thing that has been keeping me from ordering.
I heard the customs were insane for some people.

How would I go about shortening the throw on a Sanjuks V5A?

Basically title. I noticed that the throw is too much for me.
I get constantly lost in the sauce. At first I thought it's gonna get better, but after 2 months I can say that won't be happening. Would I be better off with getting another lever, or can I actually do something about it?

I don't mean the amount of travel it takes to actuate the switches by the way.
I'm referring to the actual travel it takes to hit the outer edge of the lever itself.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Why is quick match so bad?

Genuinely wondering. Im not even hating, I think it's impressive how god forsaken awful it is.
My experience of one day trying to play the game "casually" without having to worry about rank:

Cheater, Cheater, Smurf, Cheater, Smurf.

Repeat until you either no longer play quick match, or quit the entire game.

Seriously how is it this awful?
I get the game has no anti-cheat, but the smurfing, are they even trying to do anything about it?
