[FREE] I built a free plugin that audits your internal and external links

One of my frustrations with SEO in general is understanding the link profile of which posts are linking to one another, and specifically identifying which ones you can boost in the search rankings by adding a few internal links.

A lot of people who have a blog think they should just keep creating more and more content, but actually looking at the content you already have and seeing how you can link it better can improve your search results dramatically. I have seen this myself in the last couple of weeks just because of some changes I made on my own site.

I made a plugin that allows you to do exactly that. It audits your links and allows you to update them in bulk:

  1. External links: You can set them to open in a new window or add a nofollow tag to help keep the link juice on your site.

  2. Internal links: You can pick and choose how to optimize posts that are already ranking to help boost them even higher.

There is a free version available. If you have a blog, links are super important and probably underestimated; this plugin will definitely help you with that.

Would love a few installs and some feedback.

General Appsumo Warning

Avoid bundle deals. Read the fine print.

Apparently, "Bundle deals are annual plans that have very strict redemption periods that can't be extended by our partners or us."

So there are a few deals that I bought that the vendors won't honor.

I find this a little odd, especially since I'd be getting a free year (paid for with my deal) but you do have to set up an annual rebill at regular price.

Anyhow, they seem very hard-ass about these bundles. So another reason to avoid Appsumo.

Appsumo support is being very hard-line about this.

I'm a vendor. I understand coupons, and I understand it's easy to activate a coupon. It's not like they are creating a whole new payment plan.

Just a word - this kind of treatment specifically creates a highly negative impression about Appsumo and the other deal vendors (in this case Emergent) that specifically re-frames my impression of these two companies before this situation.

Apparently, credits > people.

Be warned.

How to Market on Reddit

Marketing on Reddit isn't always the easiest thing to do, but it's very effective. If you're in this particular subreddit, r/DigitalIncomePath, then you've probably seen some posts about Reddit marketing and how powerful it is.

I have written a book on Reddit marketing that is currently on Kindle. I'd like some people to get the book for free, and I'm actually looking to get some reviews on Amazon in exchange.

If you want to get better at marketing on Reddit, you can DM me and I'll give you a free copy in exchange for a review.

If not, no worries.

Where are the best historical sites?

I want to find some of the best historical sites ins Spain that aren't very touristy, and I'd love some recommendations.

I found this site, but I don't know if there are other things you would suggest. I would also love to check out some places in Portugal as well, at least the parts that are close to Spain.

Creating courses obviously takes a ton of time, and one of the things you need is to create them fast. The thing that slows me down—and I know a lot of people feel this as well—is editing. I hate editing, and I hate hearing the sound of my voice, but unfortunately, I talk with a lot of ums and ahs.

(Apprently my brain is faster than my tongue but not fast enough to course correct.)

I recently started on a new workflow using AI. Most of my courses are just my face and my screen, and I can easily switch between those layouts.

Here is what saves me a ton of time:

  1. Handling Dead Space and Glitches

I look for the dead space where I might be thinking or where I run into a glitch while demonstrating something. I just pause and redo that section. These are really easy to cut, almost like editing a Word document.

  2. Automated Cleanup

The AI can clean up all the filler words like ums and ahs all at once. Makes it sound like I'm on a studio mic in one click.

  3. Transcript-Based Editing

This is the important part: I am doing the first pass of editing by reading my Descript of the recording and highlighting words to clip them. It is so much better than watching the video thousands of times.

I don't know if anyone else in this subreddit is doing that, but it is pretty cool. This is my new course creation workflow that I use. It saves me a ton of time and it may help you too.
