How do you guys deal with hostile plant people?

I have a lot of anxiety already and plants have been a great outlet for me. I accidentally sunburned a monstera aurea I was growing out so I decided to cut it. Naturally I took the best (2) and am trying to sell the rest. I had them rooting in water for 45 days then potted them up. I listed the freshly potted cuttings for $20 as it seemed fair to me since they’re not acclimated to their new pots yet. I’ve had people complain of my location, the fact that it’s cash only and that I do not have change. It’s $20 for a plant. I did not think it would be so serious. Trying to calm down after backing out of a sale because the buyer was wanting me to wait past the time of my availability. Maybe I’m too sensitive.

I am new to gardening and I have a question about how to treat the soil after growing in finished.

I’m growing sunflowers on the side of my house. They were planted in March and they are all coming to the end of their life. I want to plant more once these have all died off. Do I need to rip everything (roots included) out before planting? Or can I just chop down to the ground and then plant around the older stems? I was planning to add another layer of compost and soil as well. Any helpful tips or advice please share! This has been very fun. Here’s some pics of what I have grown.

My pup and my son got a little scared this weekend. The snake is so fast but did not strike. Any ideas? Location [NE Houston]

Security footage is all we have as the little guy was so fast! We are surrounded by woods and have already had frequent water snake encounters.. This seems to be not as big or as dark. We are thinking Texas Garter Snake?

I’m having to hire a lawyer for the second time because of my ex husband. He had me served 3 years ago which forced me to get a lawyer then he dropped his lawyer to represent himself. This time he booked flights for our kids using a different airport that is out of town then the airport they’ve always used which is in town and only 10 miles away. I meet with my lawyer tomorrow but anyone else go through this? I’ve tried to be nice and not use the court monitored app that is offered. But since he has called the kids and cried to the saying I’m keeping them from him due to my refusal to drive out of town we will be using the app from here on out. I’m exhausted by his inability to take ownership in his mistake of booking the wrong airport or his clear lack of respect for me.
