Yall, listen. This is getting weird!

Hi!

I've been kinda playing around with witchcraft recently. I've done a few rituals and to my knowledge, I believe everything has worked so far.

Here is today's experience.

I work night shift on a horse farm and help mares give birth.

To keep it simple and short, I was asked to do the impossible but I couldn't do it. I prioritized my 2 mares that don't show a lot of signs of getting ready to give birth over something else they wanted me to do (everything is totally fine, management just wasn't too happy that I could only give the minimum)

So, they weren't happy with me. I got off, went to bed and when I got up I decided to try something to kinda rid myself of the negative energy / thoughts/ feelings.

I lit a black candle to burn away the negativity.

My husband has been growing sage and thyme so I grabbed just a few of the fresh leaves.

For some reason, I wanted to snatch a crystal from one of my tarantulas. Ran it through Google and it is an orca agate, which I learned is commonly used to work out negativity ( the random crystal grabs are getting strange) *I had another run-in the other day where I grabbed 3 blindly and they turned out to be exactly what I needed*

I just said a little something of ridding myself of those feelings and lit the candle. (I'm not creative enough to creat original actual spells)

About 20 minutes later, my manager calls to check in (I come in late so I take the calls to get caught up before heading in)

I apologized for this morning and stated my reasons and she said "I've thought about it and you were in the right of setting those priorities. No harm, no foul, all is well."

It worked.

Witchcraft is fascinating me. It always has but, like many others, I was brought up on the Christian faith. Not only did I never feel a connection in that faith but no matter how hard I tried, nothing ever came off the prayers and things. Walking my own path and learning about using the earth and everything she has to offer has been nearly life changing.

I've always felt closer to nature than any church. So finding this and studying on it and now actually using it (with permission) has blown my little mind 🤣

And if you have read this far, please tell us a story of things working!

And thank you for sitting with me tonight. 💜

Hello, I just want to share this and I do not know where else to that will not judge me.

You guys are my lucky audience.

First, my apologies for any typos. I have a fat orange cat in my lap while I am typing.

I've not been practicing for terribly long but what I have done thus far, I believe has worked. I am sharing with you all what I am working on tonight.

My great Aunt is more of a mother to me than my own mother was. She is very special to me and pretty much raised me in early childhood. Long story short, I went through a very dark time and she is one of the few reasons that I made it through. I wish I was exaggerating, I almost didn't make it.

She was also one of the few that A- took me seriously and B- believed that I could come back from it. She is why I am here today.

She is elderly and she will not be here for much longer. Infirmaries of old age, to keep it short. She could pass at any time. She is still with it though. Able to hold full conversations and is aware of what is going on and she's told everyone, including her doctors what she wants and how she wants it. She has always been that way and I admire her for it.

I live in a separate state but still close enough for day trips on weekends so I have been up to see her the past few weeks. She has no children, no husband and has recently told me that I was the little girl that she never had. Today I told her how much she meant to me and how thankful I was to have her in my life and how much I loved her.

Family still takes care of her and she is in a VERY nice nursing home that takes good care of her. She's not completely on her own.

Now, I was raised in the Christian faith but have since gone away from it. She is still deeply rooted. I can't stand the thought of breaking her heart so she does not know about this or how far I have strayed. I am home now and have set up a simple something. I am mostly going over it here because I am a visual person so reading helps me solidify things, Also, I just want to share.

Tonight is a new moon, perfect for setting intention.

I have lit a white candle for peace and protection (for her and for me) and to light the way.

That candle is eucalyptus and mint. I have worked with Eucalyptus and it pairs well with me so far. Eucalyptus, from my knowledge, can be used for healing and protection. There is no healing her, so the best I can hope for is that it goes easy and pain free. I know that this is not the place for mint but it is in the candle already so it's here for the ride.

I randomly grabbed 3 crystals from my small collection. They ended up all being different types of jasper. From what I have read, Jasper is known as the supreme nurturer, which is what she is to me. Grounding, stability and protection.

I had picked 3 because I wanted to pay tribute to her faith. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

The intention is to kind of send her off in peace, love, tranquility and for her to know how much I love her. We held each other for a while today. I will be up there every weekend until the time comes. If I can get a head's up (Which I am not sure if I will) I will try to get there for her passing but there is no guarantee.

So yeah, there it is. I am not sure if it makes sense to anyone else but it makes close enough sense to me,

And if you have read this far, thank you for sitting with me. It is greatly appreciated.

I have really hard water but was wondering if it is too hard?

Hello!

I'm in the process of cycling a 20 gallon long that will be a little community tank. It's in the process of cycling. Temp is at 77.5 Fahrenheit currently.

I was looking at adding neocaridina shrimp at some point.

I purchased the API gh and kh test kit and ran the values just to see.

GH is 12 drops and KH was 5.

Is this good, bad or indifferent?

What do I need to do to change it, if I need to?

This is a big leap for me. Can anybody tell me any personal experiences with Lilith?

So, I don't even know where to start. I've been on some witchcraft and pagan pages asking about Lilith but I've been directed here.

I've read and listened to her story and it speaks to me. I've been really digging in and working on myself (33, F) and have been feeling a pull toward her.

Now, I am intimidated by her. However, when I am met with intimidation / fear, I meet it head on and that is what I aim to do. I'm intimidated by her and the shadow work for myself.

Not to say work against, it's to give it my all.

My question for this subreddit is, has anybody worked with her and what was your experience?

Talk to me about Lilith! Please and thank you😊

Hi!

Just for context, I am nightwatch foaling attendant. I've always been a night owl, so to speak, and have always hung out late at the barn growing up. Now I've made a career out of it.

I'm also a 33 F, if that has anything to do with this

Once upon a time, I feel like i had an experience meeting Diana. I believe I've posted it before.

If you would like to read that story, I'll be happy to post in comments!

Anyway, I've been feeling the need to try shadow work and really dig in and work on myself and Lilith keeps popping into my head. But from what I've read and listened to, I'm kinda intimidated by her but at the same time I want to go into it head on.

It's what I do when I'm startled/ scared/ intimidated by anything, which is to swing first😅 it's unfortunate when an actual person startles me on accident 😶 oops.

ANYWAY that's another time.

What are your guys' experience with Lilith. What is she like and how did she make herself known to you?
