Rachel referencing Hugh Laurie's line

On the episodes of The One Who Could Have Been on season 6 there are lot of references to past episodes.

There's one I have only noticed now that I'm rewatching them after some time.

When Rachel tells Joey she's not a good person because she's in his apartment while she's married, she says that she's "a horrible, horrible person".

That's the same line Hugh Laurie's character have when he's on the plane with Rachel and she's telling the story of why she's going to England.

Do you think you would get along with them?

That's something that I was thinking about these days. Do you guys feel you would get along with the main cast in real life (not the actors, obviously).

Because honestly, I don't think I would lol

I don't think I would like Ross, I think I wouldn't have much patience for Phoebe (and probably actively dislike her on later seasons), I don't like being around controlling people like Monica...

Joey is fun, but they made him too dumb, so I'm not sure either. I kinda think I could get along with Rachel and Chandler, though, but nothing special.

But I don't think I would fit overall lol

Explain the joke to a non American fan

Hi guys! So, I'm kinda young and don't live in USA, so there are some references and jokes that I don't really get.

One of them that comes to mind is from the one where Ross whites his teeth. When he goes to his date's house, when she sees his insanely white teeth under a black light, Ross outbursts:

"What's the matter with me?! You've got black light. It's 1999!!"

I don't really get it. Were black lights common on households in earlier years? Did people stop using them for some kind of health issue or something? I don't really get that.

For you as default is horrible

I hate this feature, how to turn it off?

I don't want recommended posts down my throat. I want to be able to disable this feature, or at least set the Following as default.

I follow subreddits for a reason. This sucks, it's a horrible experience.

Songs that have grown into you after a long while?

I've been a fan since I was a kid, but some songs have only grown into me recently, in my late twenties. Some examples are Alarm Call and Violently Happy.

Do you guys have any experiences like this yourselves?
