Best non-algorithmic chronological news feed?

This is what I want ideally:

  • read the news from my preferred sources all in one place
  • no algorithms thinking they know what I want, no trending topics, nothing trying to keep me hooked or glued to my screen
  • simple chronological feed, newest to oldest
  • no ads, if possible
  • and ideally free 😂

Any suggestions?

Best chronological news feed for getting story inspiration from around the world that isn't just the stories pumped by the algorithm?

I feel like I keep seeing the same content again and again in my apps, which limits my worldview, which affects my writing. I've tried resetting Instagram, but I just ended up with the same algorithm again after a week. So I crave algorithm-free chronology 😂 I've started using feedzebra, which is honestly amazing for chronological news from around the world, but I'm wondering if there's anything similar/better for story inspiration? I can only write about the NBA and US politics and screenwriting so much 😂

Monta Ellis: "Real people know the team that I was dealt with. If you switched me and Steph out with the team that won the championships, it'd be the same thing. So you've got to take the good with the bad, and that's cool. It put me in a position to make money for me and my family."

>Ellis said the Warriors teams in the years that preceded that run set the stage for what Curry & Co. accomplished. But a fleet of developmental players never positioned his teams to win at that level. > >"That's what I dealt with. And people know that," Ellis said. "Real people that know basketball and all that, they know that. They know the team that I was dealt with. If you switched me and Steph out with the team that won the championships, it'd be the same thing. So you've got to take the good with the bad, and that's cool. It put me in a position to make money for me and my family. I ran with that."

With the flattening of lottery odds, teams don't necessarily need to prioritize getting their own picks back in a trade. (eg: Milwaukee doesn't necessarily need to prioritize getting their own picks back from Portland.)

Really all that matters is if the picks will end up belonging to a playoff team or non-playoff team. Should be more peaceful for GMs, I think, not worrying so much if the picks belong to a high lottery vs mid-lottery team.
