Professional in need of housing assistance.

Hi everyone,

My dog Samantha (6.5 y/o shepherd lab mix) and I (34m) recently relocated to Spokane and are looking for a place to stay while I get settled. I'm a physician assistant and will be starting a new position in August.

Unfortunately, a significant veterinary emergency expense depleted much of the money I had set aside for relocation costs, leaving me quite tight on cash and unable to make the upfront costs to move into a place. Over the past few months, Samantha and I have been traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest and are living comfortably in our truck camper, but now that we're in Spokane and about to start work, having a stable place to call home would make a huge difference.

So its a huge ask, but basically I'm looking for a room, yard space, camper parking spot, guest house, or long-term rental. I'm not asking for free housing- instead I'm just hoping to find someone willing to postpone rent until August 14, 2026, when I receive my first paycheck. At that point, I would be able to immediately catch up on any outstanding rent and remain current moving forward.

For a long-term arrangement, my budget is up to $2,000 per month.

If you have a place available or know someone who might be able to help, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.

So much learning has been had and lots of challenges overcome, but this has been an amazing experience. Any questions just ask.

Looking for local help with camper cabinetry

Hi, folks. I was hoping to find some recommendations or someone local who might be able to help me finish up the cabinetry inside my camper. I was about 80% of the way done before deciding i did not have the tools/space to do it right. So currently I need help finishing the exterior fascia on the upper cabinets as well as install doors on the lower cabinets surrounding the floor. I'm traveling the Pacific Northwest and doinh some mountain biking out here along the way, which has been amazing, but id love to get these cabinets finished. I can afford a reasonable price.
