Account hacked but cannot report?
Hi! I've been using booking.com for years without issue for both work and family. Tonight I got a booking confirmation email for a car rental that I almost thought was spam but when I checked my account it was really booked in someone elses name for about 2k in Marabella (nowhere near me). I called my bank and cancelled the card etc. I was also able to cancel the booking with a refund so hopefully that's no major. I have now also received over spam 1000 emails in less than an hour so presumably I am now signed up to all sorts, likely in an attempt to hide the booking confirmation from being seen!
I wanted to contact booking.com to let them know. Obviously, I'm annoyed and I've learnt my lesson about saving card details but also when I went back to look at the booking itself, it doesn't even look legit but none of the customer service options are working at all. Does anyone know if there is an email address or something? After browsing this sub I am guessing they'll not going to care at all so possibly pointless. Nothing like this has ever happened to me, I just felt like I should be telling someone.
