Fake reviews?

I use Jotform in our organization and we have found it to be a great tool, with some significant limitations at times. I have been surprised to see posted here what appears to be fake reviews. The reason why I say that is because some of the reviews are from brand new accounts with only a single post. This happened today with a post from an account that was opened only 20 minutes ago. Could someone have created the account and make that post as their first post? Potentially but probably unlikely. I scrolled through those overly positive reviews and the pattern is the same.

So, how would this be happening? Is JF creating these? I don’t know but it seems quite suspicious.

Just a few thoughts.

AI Assisted or Vibe-coded?

Hey developer(s)!

I'm glad to see ongoing development here and moving forward at a decent pace. My question for longterm sustainability is based on whether the developer(s) are being AI assisted, or if things are simply being mainly vibe-coded. I think this is important to know since AI isn't going away and we don't need to be scared if someone is using it for their work (and even that has some boundaries IMO) as AI isn't going away and there are ways to use it well. My concern is if this is simply a vibe-coded project that lacks the depth of developer skills needed for a longterm, and definitely paid app.

Maybe I missed it but I'd love for the Epistles team to weigh in on this because I think speaking into that will be helpful for those who are supporting the development.

Thanks!

Caution on rapid updates

Hey,

I’m glad to see quick development and responsiveness to user requests. My only suggestion would to be cautious implementing features or changes too quickly. Some features might be easily introduced but if they don’t have a wider plan or design, it can quickly become unruly and incoherent. When I’ve developed software in the past, I faced similar issues and I had to pace myself, think through it a bit and then implement a solution. That almost always yielded better results. Just a thought as I see many updates coming very quickly and where the web site and Reddit can’t keep up. Just a thought and this from someone who checks for updates daily on all my software 😅

Thanks for listening!

Better UI Needed

New tester here on Mac. I’m hoping the buttons and general UI get better. Also, I don’t think the large logo is needed. When using something like email a lot, everyday, I think it would get tiring. Just a thought.

Thanks.

Hello,

I have been building out a solution using the Approvals options in the workflow. Recently, I noticed that the interface for editing the mail has slightly changed. The most notable change is in the Approval field elements, which are now "Your response" and "Your comment". When using this, I noticed the merge {field} is quite different than it used to be. Will the older {fields} work? I know I should test it and will, but I wanted to put this out to the community as well.

Additionally, I have had many issues with some injected code where it offers translation. Though I have tried to remove this in the source code, it always puts it back. I am having to do workarounds as it is breaking my output.

Thanks.
