just lost my first uni friend

i’m full of grief, i’m in mourning of our friendship (no she didn’t pass away, she decided that our surface level friendship was all she asked for and nothing deeper hence she unfriended me)

comfort me 💔

hi ! i'm an aussie and i have a good friend living in Blida! I really would like to send her gifts and such, but upon research have seen the massive fines they put on stuff from abroad...could someone who has experience with this sort of stuff kindly help me out? I wish there was an easy way to send gifts (things like candy, figurines, etc...) thank you!

how to become an RA?

i literally have no clue how (or who) i'm supposed to approach regarding a role as an RA. i really want to gain experience in research to help me reach my goals but i genuinely don't know how to start or if professors (?) have a certain process to become an RA. any advice would be MUCH appreciated...

a realistic switch from pharmacy to cybersecurity?

is it possible, that when i finish my degree, i can possibly go back into uni and do a degree in cybersecurity? pharmacy was never rlly my choice, and cybersecurity is what i'm actually truly passionate about- really anything in tech. or does ANYONE know someone who can go into tech with a pharmacy degree? i feel desperate to never break into community/hospital pharmacy.

(for anyone else out there, yes you can do much more than just be a community pharmacist)

edit: i have realised that a master's in pharmaceutical industry has some courses i'm interested in. yay i can work for a big company. hopefully.

not allowed to give answers to sample exams?

has anyone else experienced professors saying they're "not allowed" to provide the answers to sample exams for their courses? like, damn the course could be one with like ONE past paper, or even better, NO past papers, and we don't get model answers to the only sample exam we get access to?

KG library open on Sundays?

I live Northside and KG would be the only place open till late, do I need a student ID to get inside? Are there any study spots (preferably very quiet) that require no student ID either? Thank you! (I’m not a QUT student - and UQ is too far for me)

best places to choose for sem 2, 2nd year pharmacy placement?

as the title says... i've heard rumours that the retail pharmacies teach you nothing because they're so busy and i'd rather learn a lot than be pushed around during peak hours...
