Should I go back lighter or stay darker blonde? (Or a secret 3rd option)

This time last year I was getting regular highlights every 8 weeks and I LOVED it! Felt so confident. The first 2 pictures are the lighter. I moved country about 5 months ago and I’ve just been letting it grow because it’s much more expensive to get it done here. Second 2 pictures are now. I don’t hate it but I just feel very… bland. I’m feeling very self conscious and insecure lately and I think my hair being so lacklustre is adding to that. The last 2 pictures are when I dyed it ginger (about 5/6 years ago now). I’m not sure if I should:

  1. Leave it as it is and allow it to grow and get a good rest from highlighting. However when it’s greasy it looks terrible.
  2. Pay up, go to a salon, and go back lighter with highlights again. I do have the money but it’s just difficult to part with it lol.
  3. Dye it box dye ginger. I did that before about 5 years ago and I did love it however I’m worried I’m just so stuck with it and using that idea as a cop out. I was also 24, in 30 now. Thinking maybe I can’t get away with it anymore lol.

Books to read at 30

Struggling a lot right now and want to improve myself in many ways and I think one way I can improve is just learning more bout the world and people. Are there any books you would recommend everyone read before they’re 30? Love, life, finances - anything. Thanks!

Sweet potato and salad 🥗

Was craving a sweet potato all day and had some leftover salad I made yesterday. This was sooo refreshing and delicious. The salad was cold and the sweet potatoes were hot and buttery.

Salad had:
- spinach
- lettuce
- cucumbers
- red and yellow bell peppers
- sweetcorn
- red onion
- grated carrot
